El hotel está a pocos minutos de la estación de metro Philharmonie o a 15 minutos a pie de la estación principal y, por lo tanto, muy bien situado. La habitación estaba muy bien mantenida y por el precio, un buen tamaño. Excelente cobertura WiFi a buenas velocidades de conexión. En general, una muy agradable estancia en un hotel muy agradable.

El hotel tiene una ubicación céntrica, cerca del centro de la ciudad y de la estación principal de trenes. La recepción fue muy amable y eficiente. La habitación era estándar y estaba limpia. Había una caja fuerte lo suficientemente grande para un ordenador portátil. La cama era cómoda. La vista era, bueno, estándar, pero durante algunas noches esto no es importante. El baño estaba limpio y moderno, sin lujos, pero no faltaba nada para la categoría y el precio del hotel. La presión y temperatura del agua en la ducha son buenas. Estaba mirando hacia atrás, así que no escuché absolutamente nada, muy tranquilo y dormí bien. Hacía un poco de calor en la habitación, pero bajar la calefacción funcionó. Podrían enviar una plancha y tabla a la habitación, no hay problema. No probé el restaurante ni el desayuno. Recomendaría este hotel para una estancia corta en Essen, ya sea privada o de negocios.

Ich bin eine gebürtige Essenerin und kenne deshalb das Hotel schon ewig. Die Lage ist zentral, gegenüber vom Hauptbahnhof und mitten in der Stadt. Die Zimmer sind je nach Kategorie geräumig. Ich finde es toll, das man die Fenster öffnen kann. Auch die Betten sind bequem. Frühstück gegen Aufpreis, dort gibt es allerdings Verbesserungspotential. Trotzdem 100% Empfehlung

La recepción cerró a las 22:00. No vimos este mensaje en Trip.com. Cuando llegamos, el jefe del hotel ya estaba listo para irse. Cuando vemos que estamos enojados y destruidos, hemos caído y hemos sido contados. Así que después hemos tenido éxito en vivir La habitación es pequeña, pero la cama y la televisión son grandes, y el otro lado es un apartamento de estudiantes. Ellos vean bien en su habitación, por lo que se sugiere que tire las ventanas. La mayor desventaja es que el aislamiento de la puerta es muy malo. Como no hay puertas, la puerta de la habitación adyacente se apaga, incluso la televisión y el reloj sonidos conocidos. El sonido de los que se limpian el corredor de la mañana llaman como si estuviera en mi habitación, monstruoso. La cabeza es muy estrecha, muy incómoda, la cama está bien, el espacio es un poco pequeño, las personas más grandes deben ser más estrechos. El servicio es bueno cuando se retira (tal vez porque cambia a alguien)

Always a good stay. Sometimes, during the night a little bit noisy, but is nothing. Next to the city centre, next to a shopping center, next to good restaurants, free parking in a garage and in the street... What else :)

I stayed here for a month whilst working in Essen. Receptionist friendly helpful and spoke excellent English. I was upgraded to an executive room, which was dated but clean and spacious and included a fridge. I was thankful for the air conditioning as the weather was hot at the time of my stay but would have preferred a sheet instead of the thick quilt. Breakfast was the standard offering but a rip off at €21 - you get a far better and cheaper breakfast at similar hotels. There’s a bar and an evening menu but this wasn’t always open however when it was the barman was great to have a chat with and get some local knowledge. There’s power sockets by the bedsides and WiFi was good. Location is good being just a 5 min walk to the underwhelming and disappointing city centre. It’s also only a 5 min walk to the metro which offers great value and for a fee of €9, gets you anywhere, although this was during a summer promotion. As a resident you get access to a gym across the road. The house keeping was at times quite poor with surfaces not wiped down. Overall a convenient place to stay but in need of modernisation which I think is a possibility in the future.

Una nueva dirección buena. Las circunstancias son de alta calidad, sólido, el estilo del hotel es la estándar actual. Notablemente bien funcionan los ascensores, notablemente es la recepción completa. Los precios son justos, y también son baratos si se elige con cuidado. La ubicación de los desayunos no parece tan barata. Una gran ventaja es que en la casa hay un paseo a un estudio de fitness y a un bar donde se encuentran bebidas, tarde y noche, y sobre todo uno o otro mordedor. Gherardino

Had a great stay in Moxy Essen from 11/06/2023 – 14/06/2023. I was travelling around the Rhine Ruhr region with my friend (and we both have Marriott Gold elite status from staying in a Marriott for university). This hotel was in a great location right next to the HBF station in Essen and was clean and modern. The bar had a good vibe and we had free drinks on arrival. We used points for this stay, and the way that the points worked out meant that we had 2 different bookings over 3 nights, but this was not an issue and we managed to get the same room for the duration of our stay (we even got a bonus welcome drink for it)! I’m probably not going to do the hotel justice here, but it was a well laid out and stylish hotel with decent sized rooms. We had a twin room to share and the staff made extra effort so that we were on the quieter side of the building. We initially checked into the hotel at approximately 2pm, but decided to spend the afternoon in Wuppertal. When we arrived back on the first night. I had a shower, and there was no shampoo. No big deal, but I ended up going down to reception to ask for some. The man couldn’t find any shampoo, but about half an hour later, some appeared, I think he probably brought I from the shop as it wasn’t in the normal bright pink Moxy bottle, but it was really nice of him to make the effort. That day, the weather hit 32 degrees and whilst we were waiting for the shampoo, we tried to work out how the air conditioning worked. Between me and my friend that I was travelling with, we couldn’t work it out, so we asked the employee. However, between the 3 of us and Google we could not work it out. Anyway, I think we were the only people in the hotel that night as this was approximately midnight local time, and I think we went in every room in the corridor. To try and find one with working air con. All of them were empty! We eventually found one that wasn’t like a sauna and packed our stuff and moved. The employee was genuinely the nicest and most helpful employee I think I have ever seen in a hotel, very apologetic, but also very sociable. It was really nice to meet him as he was so happy to help. Unfortunately I didn’t get his name, but he had a ponytail I think and said he was Turkish. I think he will know who we are when he reads this! I saw him off duty in the bar the next night and thanked him. We even got 2 free breakfasts out of this!! The breakfast was good, though probably not worth the price we were told when we booked (I think it was about 15 euros but can’t remember as I have stayed in about 5 hotels in the past week and they have all rolled into one a bit). There was a few cooked items (Bacon & Scrambled Egg) and a few cold/ cereal items, but not loads. I probably wouldn’t recommend getting breakfast as all the Moxys allow a free coffee/ juice in the morning and a pastry, which is a nice touch. Hoteles en El Hotel: Este hotel es un hotel muy agradable. La señora en la recepción/bar era muy amable y trabajaba muy duro. El lobby es agradable con algunas sillas y disfraces agradables. Las habitaciones son simples, pero limpias y muy tranquilas. El duche tenía una presión decente de agua. El desayuno era delicioso, muy variado.
