"We did a girls trip (4 of us) and booked a unit and a motel room right next door for a 4 night stay. The location was superb - just a short walk to Rubyvale town with cafes, hotel and grocery store. The unit was fully equipped so we did a mixture of cooking and eating out. Set amongst nature we were visited every day by a beautiful friendly wallaby complete with a Joey. We did the on-site observatory experience one night and it was well worth it - Michael is so knowledgeable about our solar system and the telescope did not let us down with such clear views of the planets, stars etc We had terrific hosts with Michael and Jane and we highly recommend their place."

"I actually stayed at Dooley's Tavern & Motel in SPRINGSURE, not Capella. However, massive shout out to Sam and Jess and the management team for arranging a switch of venues when I blew a tire 30k to the south of Rolleston. (And I imagine a big sigh of relief from all the travellers and truckies that did not get stuck behind an 80k speed limited car for 200+kms. The photos of both motels look similar, so I imagine the experience at Capella was similar to Springsure. The air-conditioned room was perfect with a super comfy bed and great water pressure in the shower. The meal I had at the tavern was also terrific."

"The room was filthy. Beds are old and hard. The bathroom smelt of sewage. A pot plant container was used as a rubbish bin. There wasn’t enough blankets for everyone and it’s the middle of winter. Floors left our feet black and the blind in the bedroom was a “make shift” blind that you couldn’t even open. Never again would we be staying here. The room was so run down."

"Capella Coach Inn was the perfect stay for our large family group – 15 rooms – for our son’s wedding on his wife’s family’s farm. Our group stayed for up to four nights and everyone was very happy with their rooms. A huge thankyou to Kim, and also Chelsea, for your patience over the phone, over many months, and finally in person to organise the most suitable rooms to meet our guests’ different needs. For those with some mobility issues, Kym ensured they had walk-in showers and ground floor rooms while other guests enjoyed the very large baths. The spacious rooms were very clean. Our large group also enjoyed the free continental breakfasts in the communal dining room and the chance to catch up in an air-conditioned space during the very warm days. And it was a short stroll to the Capella Hotel."
