"Excellent and very high quality conversion of old army barracks into quirky apartment hotel. Would have been 5/5 but for a major glitch when checking in. This may have been due to us booking less than 2 hours before arrival. It is a self check in and it took an out of phone calls before we got access. However, room was very comfortable and well equipped. Small kitchenette was ideal for our needs. Secure basement storage for bicycles."

"Algunos minutos a pie del centro, lo que no es perjudicial. Habitualmente bien equipado, habitaciones y baños en particular deberían ser algo luminosos. El desayuno sostenible sin las porciones de envasado convence. El servicio en la habitación y el desayuno podría ser un poco más atento (al salir en detalle, podría ser mejor que en un futuro próximo). El cappuccino era bueno, la galleta no era así, así que no lo tomamos el segundo día. Pero un par en la mesa vecina lo lograron ese día. Habíamos reservado la habitación al precio especial. "We celebrated my wife's 65th birthday in a separate room in the restaurant with family, friends and neighbors. The team had prepared everything very festively and served the 40 or so people wonderfully and professionally - simply excellent service! The atmosphere in the newly designed room was just perfect and helped make the celebration an unforgettable experience. The food and drinks were delicious and were praised by all the guests. We were also very impressed by the professionalism and friendliness of your staff. It was a pleasure to enjoy the celebration at the Goldener Adler. The team at the Goldener Adler played a key role in making the birthday a complete success. We are already looking forward to the next visit and the next celebration!"

"I was there for 2 nights only and chose this hotel for location and price, the Wifi is good, breakfast is always included and of very high quality, too much to eat everything even. The parking is free for all guests (very satisfied with that as most hotels now also charge extra fees for parking!) Rooms are a bit outdated but clean and comfortable. Very good overall service for a pretty low price. It is also conveniently located next to the ferries to the islands."
