"FAR- THE DIRTEST place I've ever been- on the second night THEY BITTEN the friend we lost together with the KORIAN and we were running and we couldn't reach him. we left in a hurry and of course there was no mention of financial compensation. plus THEY STOLE ALL OUR SHOES 4 pairs of Nike sneakers - he also had undeclared Roma cleaning staff so that he wouldn't pay as the locals told us the sloppy owner.."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay at the G George! The Staff were helpful, friendly and welcoming, a big thank you to Caroline, Dunja and Joanna for their helpful tips and guidance about the resort. We could not fault our ground floor room, it was clean, spacious, excellent faciities refreshed every day by the maids. The pool was very clean and plenty of sun beds with or without shade. The bar was well stocked and had plenty of comfortable seating prices were similar to the rest of the resort. The breakfasts were amazing, plenty of choice and something different added every day. Great snacks available at the bar and evening meals were of a very high standard and great value. The location was perfect, nice and peaceful and only a five minute stroll to the resort centre and a ten minute walk to the local bus stop and coach drop off/pickup point. We recomend this hotel if you are staying in Nidri! Thank you all for a wonderful stay! Dave & Jayne. Yammas!"

"La cocina no tenía esponja ni líquido para lavar las platas. Las cubiertas de cocina estaban llenas de polvo. La ubicación está muy lejos del resto de la isla. La playa está pebble y demasiado llena. La ubicación no ofrece mucho que hacer, en realidad no es un pueblo ...Hay algunas tabernas, pero también estaban llenos y si no haces reservas no puedes encontrar un lugar para comer."

"Amazing place, amazing staff. What a wonderful week we had in this beautiful hotel in a beautiful spot in Lefkada. First visit to Lefkada and we were made so welcome everywhere by everyone. The hotel and the room was spotlessly clean with plenty of space and fabulous views over Mikros Gialos. In fact wherever you were in the hotel you had the most scenic views. Lots of space for you to find a good spot for the day round the pool Or down on the decking or beach. What makes this place is the staff : attentive, considerate, engaging, always ready to help and so friendly. We will be back."

"Cheap clean rooms. Very small kitchenette. No kettle, toaster, saucepans or enough crockery and glasses for the 3 of us. Pretty impossible to make breakfast or a cup of tea or coffee. Receptionist perfectly pleasant person but found it impossible to understand that a kitchenette at least meant the basics. Small pool. Fortunately we were only using place as a base to meet up with family. Wouldn't stay here again."

"What a great find! I’m so happy we stayed here after a week of sailing. This hotel was perfect in every way, quiet,stunning views of the bay. The sun loungers were comfy and the bean bags were insanely comfy! The pool was lovely and warm, the staff were all super friendly and accommodating. I loved the choice at breakfast, esp the choice of nuts, dates and fruit. There was ample choice of local Greek tavernas just a 10 min walk away, do bring a torch for the walk home. The gym was okay, although there’s no mat to stretch on. The bed was so comfy. The beach is a 20min walk away but worth it if you like. Theres no local shops or supermarkets so a taxi costing 10E each way is needed so stock up, although they have a bar which sell simple snacks for lunch and beers and drinks. This is the perfect place a great couples escape."

"the room was very dirty with no antiseprtics nor soap. At the second night my friend got bitten by a parasitic insect and got filled with pimples. At all this the manager was acting like it was not important and admitted that he personaly was in charge of disinfestating the rooms and not an expert or a professional. Plus he offered us a second room that was even dirtier than the one we got bitten. A situation totally surrealistic. Highly disappointed after that we left immidetialy to return home. Next day: 1. My friend went to a dermatologist who said the infection was strong and gave him special treatment. 2. We realized WE WERE STOLEN. At our things out 4 pairs of athletic shoes were wising – stolen by the manager or his personel."

"This is the second time I've stayed at this fantastic hotel, and as I begin this review, I am just starting my second week here and wanted to share my experience. Firstly, the hotel itself and the rooms are spotlessly clean, which is a credit to the management and the hard-working, unseen team that work tirelessly behind the scenes. The hotel is off the main drag but only about a two-minute walk to all the restaurants and bars. It's very tranquil around the pool, which is what I like, with no loud music bouncing out thank goodness. The rooms themselves, depending on your choice, are all well appointed with excellent beds and linen. Since last year, it's nice to see that there is a constant reinvestment programme going on, with new hairdryers fitted in the rooms and a touch card entry system, as well as a fantastic electronic traffic light system on the door where you can just press green to indicate the room is to be cleaned or red for do not disturb, etc. There's also a new building under construction near the pool, which will contain new outside toilets and showers. (Don’t worry, the work is going on out of season.) The G George is an extremely well-run family business, expertly managed by Maria and Martina, who are both very hands-on and approachable, always on hand. With the lovely Joanna behind the bar, always with a nice smile and enthusiasm—she's a lovely girl with a great command of the English language—I find myself drinking quite a lot at Joanna’s bar because I have a genetic condition whereby my body doesn't produce its own alcohol, so I have to take supplements. 😉 For breakfast, which is always overseen and expertly managed by Maria, there's always something for everyone and a real effort is made to display it all well. In my opinion, it's a fantastic array. At breakfast time, we are greeted by Caroline, the English lady, who is a wealth of information and very hardworking. Just in the last couple of days, we have welcomed a new starter, Elana, who has made a great impression and integrated seamlessly into the team, doing a fantastic job. Enjoy your new journey, Elana. Well done to everyone, thanks for looking after us, and see you again in September. Steve & Yvonne"

"Terrible experience – not worth the money I stayed at Rouda Village and was extremely disappointed. The conditions were far from what you’d expect for the price. The air conditioning cannot be used during the day, so every time I returned to my room it was unbearably hot. On top of that, the electricity shuts off when you’re not in the room, which means you can’t leave anything charging or cooling while you’re out. Overall, the comfort level was very poor and absolutely not worth the money they ask for. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay."
