Hotel is newer and still smells new in many places. Everything was clean, staff was friendly and helpful and the experience was good overall. I loved that coffee was available all the time. Breakfast was pretty basic but decent.

Eligimos este lugar porque era amigable, de conducción y conveniente, aunque a primera vista, no estabamos seguros debido a todos los camiones que se alinearon a la calle. El hotel es un hotel de 20 habitaciones, que se encuentra en el centro de la ciudad de Elkhart, donde se encuentran los más populares de los transportistas que se mueven de Elkhart a otros destinos. El hotel está muy bien, pero no hay nada que pueda hacer.

La habitación de la habitación era muy buena, pero no me gustaba la habitación. Ella dijo ”no hay nada”. Cuando se echó a la vista, no recibió una receta, pero no pensamos en nada de ella porque habíamos pasado por Hotwire para reservar la habitación. Cuando revisé mis tarifas de tarjeta de crédito para nuestro viaje, vi que por una noche nos pagaban $ 75.00 para nuestro perro de 15 lb! Nunca mencionaron la abominable tasa de mascota, la más que hemos pagado por $50.00. Mi consejo es no usar Hotwire ni ningún hotel de cadena Hilton si tienes un animal de compañía. ¡Anuncian como ”Pet Friendly”, Pero no son ”Wallet Friendly” ni ”Customer Friendly”. Cuando llamé al hotel, eran insimpatéticos y simplemente dijeron que era la tarifa que Hilton les dio por una a cuatro noches, ”Lo siento”. Simplemente enojado!!!!

We stayed one night on our vacation at this hotel. It's by far the worst hotel we had in 12 nights! Our room looked like the sprinkler system had gone off or something. The wallpaper was all peeling badly at the seams and the wallpaper paste had run down the walls.. their attempt at repair was staples in several places. The ceiling light fixture had brown dried liquid in the globe. Both the sink and shower faucets leaked, the grout in the shower was moldy all around the parameter and there was hair in the tub. The sheets were very worn, rough and pilling. The bed was very hard. The other two Fairfields, the Courtyard Marriott, and the Holiday Inn Express on this trip were very nice.

Baymont Inn & Suites-Elkhart IN 2 night stay–1st night no issues except a broken toilet seat which we could live with. We asked that the room not be cleaned so that we could leave our stuff in the room. When we came back to our room later that evening we noticed a pair of UNDERWEAR (NOT OURS) LYING on the floor beside the bathroom on top of some of our dirty laundry!!!!! SUPER GROSS!!!!. When I went to speak to the front desk I was told that it was a mistake and that maybe someone else left it behind and housekeeping missed it. He assured me that the room was not entered as we placed the placard on the door saying don’t clean the room. When I enquired about some sort of discount he said that he couldn’t do anything about it seeing as he can’t look at the tape of the hall camera until tomorrow sadly proving once again that customer service means ABSOLUTELY NOTHING IN THIS DAY AND AGE! Up to this point in our stay I would say we were relatively happy..not in the best neighborhood and not the most up to date room to choose..but the price was right. After this I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE AT ANY TIME. I help book hotels as part of my job and you can be assured this one will not be on any list that I have as a suitable property in which to stay!

We came into town for our first visit to watch a show at The Lerner. Beautifully restored theatre and neat area to explore with Mishawaka and South Bend a short drive away. Hotel is a new, well cared for hotel with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. My only word of caution is to be prepared for much higher preauthorizations then you might expect. We planned a long weekend and stayed for three nights. Our credit card was preauthorized for the entire stay before arriving which is not unusual; however, when we arrived, they ran it through again for the entire three day stay. I asked about it and was told one of the preauthorizations would drop off…it did not during our stay. Upon checkout a few days later, I mentioned it yet again…they responded, sorry, the extra preauthorization will not be removed until 2-3 days after checkout. We don’t carry balances on our credit cards so not a huge deal for us, but certainly something others may want to be aware of as our entire stay was charged twice.
