Overall, the experience was pleasant. The bed comfortably accommodated two people, although the pillows and mattress showed signs of wear. The location, a 30-minute uphill walk to the city center, felt a bit distant. To add, the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

It was very dirty in the rooms and the kitchen. Hairs an crumbs on the floor, dirty dishes, weird spots on the wall, hard bed, very nasry smell in the hallways. It is not worth your money!! We payed 400 eu for 4 nights... Please spend your money somewhere else because this is just a waste.

Was ideally located, everything within walking distance, 20 minutes and you are in the centre, staff friendly and very helpful.

Found it very clean, staff friendly snd helpful. Not too far from all amenities. However it was sold as a double room which clearly it is not. The bed was suitable for one, not two. Was extremely uncomfortable the mattress was on last legs, although they did have a mattress topper to soften the springs. Yeah it is cheap, but even so, be honest and say suitable for one person only. After all the rooms are let out to one student during term times. Wifi good, but to be fair needed redecorating as room looked scruffy and had marks on walls

The room was clean and well organised,really quiet,and close to supermarket (lidl and asda), AT 15min from the city Center with bus stop close by. There was a private kitchen for 5 rooms which was really handy. We had access to a laundry that was cheap and it was very useful. Only negative point: the absence of television in the room.

3 day stay to visit my daughter. Just needed a place to sleep at night. Basic student room. Spotlessly clean.Communal sitting area / kitchen with everything needed to self cater. No TV. Previous reviews mentioned poor insulation / noise but maybe I was just lucky as I had no issues. Parking on street outside permitted between 5.30 pm and 8.30 am. Would definitely stay again.(Assume only available outwith Uni term time.) Good Price for Edinburgh where ＞£200 per night is the norm.

Had a great stay, staff was lovely. Was a bit worried about the noise after reading some reviews but was lucky enough to have a quiet stay. There’s a kitchen for each 5 bedrooms or so which I never used and the bed was comfy. Wifi was amazing and I was working from there so it was perfect. There’s a lobby in the main reception building with foosball and a tv, which I found pretty cool. I stayed in the building across the street and the location is perfect. Many supermarkets and cafes within a 5 min walk. The bedroom could be a bit cleaner maybe but not too bad. I think mostly was due to wear and tear so maybe not even possible to clean any better. There’s no tv so ensure you take a book or something otherwise you’ll be bored. The only callouts: please put a bin in the bedroom or bathroom. Also the bathroom’s light works via sensor so don’t be a fool like me looking for a switcher that simply isn’t there! :) Overall it’s great value for money and will definitely stay there again!

The staff here are very friendly and helpful, like so so so friendly. If you are comfortable with this type of lodging and just appreciate it for what it is, this is one of the better experiences you will have.
