We booked the Standard room with double bed - as it was middle range, not as modern as the Ocean View rooms you see in the example photos - but hoping it was not as poor quality as the windowleas rooms that got bad reviews. It was not quite as clean as I hoped but bearable. The room felt dusty around the edges, so we stayed away from the walls and back of the furniture. There was a lot of dust on the lampshade. Also I saw a long hair under the pillow before I got in and in the corner of the shower the next day. Also, there was a rolled up pair of Batman socks from a previous occupant, tucked behind the curtains. None of that would have been too bad, but the green emergency light was shining too brightly all night. I added a picture of of the view from the bed in the dark with the green light. Apart from that, the breakfast was good and the hotel was pretty in general. Also the location was great as it was along the sea front.

This Hotel is extremely tired and we paid alot of money for this two night stay. Bathroom had a cracked sink, mold round the bath and the bedroom window was held open with a luggage treasle. Window paint was peeling off. The only person who seemed to show any care was at the breakfast room .

Staff were polite and helpful. Room had all I needed. Fresh towels , bed linen, and coffee & tea making facility's. The breakfast was everything you'd want , very good. Restaurant staff helpful.

very good positions, the service is nice. it has the bathtub. but the overall facilities are old

Was brilliant I had by accident booked a room with no window.I needed to change it because my girlfriend was claustrophobic they changed it when I got there and the room was perfect.i will definitely be coming here again also the breakfast good choices

Bed was comfy but felt a draft coming through the window , clean room a bit of mold in the bathroom “ so I think “

Very disgusted and disappointed we checked in the room was already clean and ready right? NO! The whole bed blanket both sides the pillows were all full of hair there was hair everywhere no fan or cooling had to call to get a fan the cleaners came an hr late to clean and change bed and blanket sheets that were full of hair and thats not it the flush on the toilet stopped working after the first time completely stopped flushing called the reception twice no one picked up had to go down to the reception to complain then they finally changed our room because they couldn’t fix the toilet flush the same day reception service was not up to the standards that they claim to have so overall a very unpleasant experience would not recommend anyone to go unless they have no option!!

The stay was pleasant, check-in was quick and easy.

Breakfast was non edible. To be told it comes out fresh and to sit down and your breakfast is on your table in 2 mins, so not freshly cooked at all, cornflakes stale and bread stale. Our room still had clothes in draw from previous guest so clearly, cleaner not doing there job properly. Will not be recommending this hotel at all very disappointing

One of the higher hotels along the Eastbourne beachside which is a tranquil touch to the hotel location.
