After checking into our room and a brief inspection of the room we discovered that the TV had limited channels that kept freezing up. My husband spoke with the desk clerk, and she explained that he had to pull out the microwave from the wall and reset the TV box behind the microwave. He tried this a couple times without success. When he went back down to discuss it further, she checked the TV in the breakfast room and said it should be fine, then instructed him not to come down again, rather call her if there’s still an issue. We let the issue slide. Further problems with the room were mold on the bathroom ceiling, no knob on the bathroom door, patchwork on the wall where there should have been some sort of towel rack. There was no place to hang clothes accept, three pegs on the bedroom wall. Now, we get to the fun part: At 11:00pm a car trying to park ran into a pillar which supported the 2nd floor balcony, and the door of their room. Chaos followed with police, a fire truck, and hotel personnel. That lasted for about an hour. We assumed things would calm down hoping we could get some sleep, however, the noise continued. Guests of the hotel continued to loiter outside the rooms talking, laughing, and yelling until 3:00am. There is no security on the premises, and our overall perception is that the management shows no interest in customer service or maintaining a safe updated property. The whole experience was rather sketchy. We wouldn’t stay here again.
