Agradablemente sorprendido. Estaba esperando una pequeña habitación estéril, pero estaba impresionado con el tamaño. Buena mesa de tamaño para trabajar desde, 2 sillas cómodas y buenas habitaciones de baño. Buenas instalaciones y buena desayuno en el restaurante en el lugar. No hay Aircon, pero aquí hay un fan para enfriar la habitación. Sólo abajo fue que la luz en el baño cayó del techo, pero que se fijará fácilmente. TV no se inclina así que tienes que sentarse en la cama para verlo, que fue dolor. Todo lo demás era bueno.

This motel offers good flexibility for cancellations which was our biggest deciding factor in staying there as we were travelling down for my hospital treatment and needed to be able to stay somewhere we could tweak the dates to stay if for some reason the hospital postponed the treatment start. At this point All seemed to be well in terms of the service we received over the phone during the booking process, we booked asking for very specific requirements for our rooms and we felt at the time of booking the understanding of these needs by the host seemed to be all very good and understood. We also rung the day before we arrived just to clarify that our rooms were as requested still and reminded we had very specific needs due to medical and health reasons and again we were reassured that all was as requested. Well we got a real shock fast when we arrived at the motel and found that none of our booking requirements had been met at all for either my parents room or for ours. :( We had requested the wheelchair accessible room for my parents, and second a ground floor unit for us. .We had asked that our room was placed downstairs near to my parents who were to be in the wheelchair unit as I have 2 autistic children , and suffer a brain tumour (reason I was there for treatment and had my parents there to help) and my mobility for stairs/seizures at random times makes it extremely agonising to navigate stairs let alone dealing with the special needs children who have very little danger understanding with heights so it was so anxiety inducing at a time that was already very scary for me to find that we had been placed in an upstairs unit . My parents were also NOT placed in the wheelchair room, and my disabled mother had to climb steps and not be able to use her wheelchair at all for 3 nights - this is hideous for someone who is a full time wheelchair user!!!!. She was not able to come up and help me with my children overnight as it was needed as she couldn't access our room! How does this happen? It actually really sucked for us all. The host was unable to rectify this situation because the motel was full, and we ended up having to make do. I don't feel like our needs were listened to or met at all and I was very frustrated at the situation and lack of help given when we were explicit on our needs when first booking, especially with also being proactive to call the day before to ensure our booking requests were being upheld. When people request certain things, either tell them you can't meet those requests or actually listen and ensure those requests are followed through when promised. There were an elderly couple in the wheelchair room, so why didn't they either tell us or them at the time of booking (whoever tried to book it last) that the wheelchair room wasn't available? I couldn't believe it. It left us feeling like they had taken our booking knowing they couldn't fullfill the requirements and hoped that it would be ok? well it wasn't o

Unfortunately, we were only here for one night, and arrived rather late, since we went to see the penguins. But I wish we could have stayed longer! Owners are SO nice, you have everything you need - beds were comfortable - can't think of a bad thing to say, really. We chose it because we had an early flight in the morning, and it is on the way to the airport - so if you prefer a night full of stars over a stay in the city - this is the place for you.

UUsuario invitadoMi hija y yo nos quedamos recientemente en mayo en este motel, porque mi hija tiene una máquina de apnea de sueño que necesitamos dos dormitorios. Barry nos dio una unidad de arriba que tenía una cama grande posiblemente de tamaño rey en una habitación y, en el salón, había una cama única. Ambos los camas eran muy cómodos y dormimos bien. Niño y tranquilo, no hay ruido de tráfico. El baño con gran agua caliente, toallas se suministra cada día. La unidad se refresca diariamente. Toallas nuevas, detergentes, champú. Unidad limpia sin escena, Netflix estaba disponible así como Sky TV. Utiliza la máquina de lavar y secar por cuatro dólares, pero no nos molestamos. La cocina se ha renovado recientemente, microondas, placas calientes, zona de comedor de mesa y sillas. Barry y Donna se fueron de su camino para hacer nuestra estadía muy agradable y agradecidos y reconocer su amistad y consejo.

Tuve problemas con cerrar la puerta (es una cerradura europea y las instrucciones no eran suficientes para mí), así que busqué ayuda. Pon la campana de la puerta. No contesté (existe un coche fuera y las luces estaban encendidas). Entonces vi un aviso diciendo que debía llamar. Lo hice y el mensaje grabado dijo que nadie estaba disponible para hablar conmigo. Entonces tuvo un texto que dijo ”Por favor, me envíe”, dijo que no puedo cerrar la puerta. No contesté. Tenía un texto que preguntaba si alguien me podía ayudar. Entonces, me devolví un texto con mejores instrucciones que funcionaron. Eso fue el contacto de la suma que tenía. Si tuve un problema grave, ¿alguien me habría ayudado? No me sentí seguro, porque no sentía que nadie fuera a ayudar en absoluto. En este sentido, encontré el lugar muy desagradable. No me gustaría ver a nadie, pero saber que estaban allí en caso de emergencia. Así que el resumen - este era el lugar más cómodo que he estado en el lugar durante mucho tiempo. Pero como una sola mujer que necesitaba ayuda con la habitación y un No me sentí seguro.

UUsuario invitadoWe loved our stay at Larnach Castle Lodge. The room was comfortable with breathtaking views across the gardens to the ocean. We added the Dinner in the Castle to our stay, which was delicious. Our hosts for the evening were Bella & Hamish; both charming and very professional. Breakfast the following morning was served in the Ballroom Cafe, and this too was very good. Make sure you leave yourself plenty of time to explore the gardens, which are amazing and showcase the owner’s passion to create beautiful memories for you to take away. Our self tour of the Castle was complimentary with our tariff. Very interesting building. Loved all the old furniture, pictures and artefacts throughout the building.

PPhilippa16El hotel es muy conveniente para el centro de Dunedin. La unidad estaba caliente cuando utilizamos 2 fuentes de calefacción. Tenía todo lo que necesitamos para nuestra estancia. Grande cocina pequeña. El baño estaba bien, no hay sistema de ventilación para extraer la humedad, así que sólo tenía que mantener las ventanas abiertas. (Un poco de frío)
La única desconexión que tenía era el ruido de la calle y el ruido de los estudiantes que oímos cada noche.

JJoG202La habitación era perfecta para una noche cuando visitó para graduación. Peter era un gran host, como era Jacqueline el día 2. Habitación limpia y cómoda, gran ducha. UUsuario invitadoThis is the best motel/hotel you will find in Dunedin. In my opinion, the rate/price is very cheap and the luxury and location is premium. Reception was the most polite, lovely, warm, friendly I've ever encountered in New Zealand. The housekeeping was daily, midday, and very polite, and efficient yet pristine clean. The whole experience there was totally excellent. Cosy clean room. Polite, friendly, lovely staff. Great housekeeping. The design of the building was very ideal. Extremely close to a dairy, university, grass field, and heaps of food outlets. The best place I've stayed in Dunedin and I've stayed in 5 hotel/motels so far. Also the neighbours were super friendly and polite across the fence. Thank you so much to the management. Best recommended accommodation in Dunedin. The people who post negative reviews must be rude and overly entitled and is an unfair reflection on the quality.
