Soleil Luxury Rooms Old Town

Perfect location less than 30sec walk from the Main Street in old town. The owner is very nice and communicative. When I had an issue with my room, a room change was immediately offered. Bed was comfy and clean.The only minor ding is two of my bath towels had some long woman’s hair stuck on it, but not a big deal.

This is a lovely property in the old city at a very reasonable rate. Parking is not included and local parking is outrageously expensive in Dubrovnik. Ours was cheaper, at 20€ per day, since it was November and since it was a 35 minute walk from the hotel. However there are convenient busses and taxis. We particularly enjoyed dinners at Dalmatino, on the same street as the hotel. The food is excellent, the staff professional and friendly, the setting warm and cozy, and the prices quite reasonable (for Dubrovnik.) I highly recommend it.

1. The check process is more like AirBnB. I arrived at 7pm and she left a key for me. No one checked my ID, which felt unsafe 2. As a woman traveling alone, I would not have stayed here if I knew that there wasn’t staff on site 24/7. I felt unsafe coming home after dinner 3. My room was not cleaned well. There were blood stains on 2 different parts of the sheets. There was a thick, curly piece of hair on the toilet 4. I booked this hotel because it said it has soundproof walls. But it was very loud in my room. When I complained, the woman said, “you should know you’re in old town”. If that’s the response I don’t think they should advertise that the room is soundproof. 5. I was looking forward to coming home to a relaxing stay with 4-star amenities. It’s a basic room, not 4 stars 6. Luggage was stored in the lobby after I checked out. This felt unsafe. 7. I am injured and this hotel had so many stairs and no elevator. It is not accessible. I expect a four star hotel to help me carry my luggage This was a disappointing stay because of the dirty room & because it was not as advertised. I did not feel safe during my stay here. I am not sure how this property decided they were four stars, but this is not a four star property. I suggest the owners of this property update their listing to more accurately reflect the accommodations they offer

Great location, out the main door and there you are in the old town. Apartment high up so lovely and quiet at night and early morning. Ana Maria very friendly and helpful with organizing our taxi to and from the airport. Apartment lovely and clean and well maintained only down thing was the shower wasn’t brilliant but it wouldn’t stop me from staying here again

The property was in a great location, close to restaurants and shopping. We were surprised upon arrival when our host requested cash payment for our room. She requested that I go down the street to an ATM machine to get the cash to avoid paying fees that would normally come out of her payment. This of course cost us a convenience fee which is not what we expected. If you plan to visit this property, be advised that you need to have cash on hand prior to arrival. Would not stay there again. Also, the shower head fell off in the shower which made it difficult to shower.

We really enjoyed this hotel. It was super modern and clean. The room was stunning and the host was very friendly and helpful. The bed was so comfortable that we over slept and woke up super late the next day haha. We definitely are coming black here.
