"I came to Great Trails Kodaikanal solo with my dog Puttu for a much-needed break, and I couldn't have chosen a better place. From the moment we arrived, Puttu was welcomed so warmly by everyone. He had the best time running around, sniffing the garden and exploring, and seeing him that happy made my trip. GRT is not just pet-friendly but really pet-loving! What touched me most was how considerate and courteous the staff were. Since I was alone with a pet and had to dine outside, they didn't make it awkward at all — they simply sent my dinner to the room with a smile. As a solo woman traveller, that kind of thoughtfulness means everything. The spa was the highlight for me. I took a body massage, a facial and a complimentary foot Apana ritual, and both therapists Emily and Alex were absolutely awesome. So skilled, gentle and professional. I even got to have Puttu lying right beside me during the session, which made it so relaxing and stress-free. The property itself is beautiful — misty views, very clean and cozy rooms, lovely garden and such a peaceful vibe. If you are looking for a safe, kind, and truly pet-friendly luxury stay in Kodai to just breathe and spend quality time with your fur baby, this is it. Thank you GRT team for giving us such beautiful memories. Puttu and I will be back!"

Be prepared for an off road experience for the last 2 Kms with climb but not hard. You will pass through eucalyptus trees to reach the property. Each room faces the valley. The staff of the hotel led by Mr. Arun were great and took care of our needs. The complimentary breakfast was very tasty with good variety. We were there for 2 days and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Would greatly recommend this property and will keep this as our first preference. "

"Amazing location and fantastic service. Rooms are well equipped with all services and a best blend of homestay and personalised services. Approaching road is narrow but worth once you reach at the top. Very helpful staff and also helped us with local guide. A hidden gem on top of the hill. They have three friendly and very well behaved dogs, who would give you company as they wish. Staff can converse in English, Hindi and Tamil. Food is very simple, homely and well prepared. Don’t expect lot of variety as this is homestay but chef can cook both South Indian and north Indian variety very well. Must try masla tea and South Indian breakfast. Internet is unstable and you only get bsnl mobile network and jio sometimes. We worked from this location for few days and the environment and location was apt. Must take services of local guide Surya. He took us to some amazing trails and also made some really professional videos."
