Premier Inn Derby West

Tardaron media hora en hacer el check in, aunque la actitud es muy buena Es equivalente al Hanting doméstico, con equipamiento completo pero muy antiguo. La bañera es un plus, pero la ducha no es extraíble. La calefacción está muy caliente, pero no se puede programar el temporizador El colchón es alto y tiene soporte. La velocidad de Internet es muy lenta, demasiado lenta, los pasillos y las habitaciones tienen olor a humedad. El desayuno de 9.5 libras es relativamente promedio, pero la actitud del servicio es bastante buena y puedes empacar un desayuno. También es una ventaja tener una tetera y bolsitas de café y té.

Very basic, which is all you expect for the price, bed only a double bit cramped but pillows and mattress comfy. Otherwise just a basic room which was clean and at the end of the day did the job for us over a weekend , was close to an Aldi supermarket and not that far from ma8n derby centre , so well ,located

Stayed this weekend with the family, Darren and the staff at Premier Inn Derby West couldn't have been more helpful. Very understanding, considerate and handled our requests immediately without fuss. Definitely returning, highly recommend

Last minute decision to stay out for a night, had a nice welcome at reception, the room was comfortable and clean. It was nice to find a little treat left for me in the room which was a nice touch and wasn't expected. Bed was comfy and a great sleep

We’ve stayed here previously with no issues so expected the same again this time. We booked 2 nights here. The first night we arrived with very tired children and literally got to the room and put them to bed. Myself and my husband didn’t sleep well as the atmosphere was damp and I struggled a bit as asthmatic. In the morning we noticed the carpets were damp and so was the bedding. The bathroom door wouldn’t close as it had obviously been water damaged at some point. My husband reported to reception and the amazing lady offered to move us to a different room while we were out for the day. We came back and true to her word she had moved all our stuff to a much better room. The fan in the bathroom didn’t appear to be working so again we had an uncomfortable night and struggled to get to slept. We advised the staff first thing about the issue to be told someone had likely turned the fan off as contractors that stay there often do and we just needed to turn it back on. Obviously we were not aware that this was a thing. Surely when the room was cleaned prior to us being moved there the cleaner would have noticed the fan was not on and turned it on ready for the next occupants. We stay in Derby quite a bit for family reasons and it’s put me off using premier inn after 2 shocking nights sleep. My advise would be check the bedding and carpets as soon as you arrive!

Once one finds this hotel in the west of Derby city, the next issue is to find the Reception for it. Something in the air had disturbed the SatNav on three separate mobile phones in the same car to the extent that on approaching the location of this hotel, the maps went into overdrive and just spun endlessly which made our arrival late and frustrating. The design is like a rabbit warren and with no lift available one had to lug heavy suitcases up flights of stairs. Having booked a double room (for 2 people) we discovered only ONE hand towel and ONE bath towel, with reception so far away we didn’t bother asking for additional towels.

I was staying with a friend and we'd booked a twin room. We were given a king size bed with a small single (converted couch). Although the mattresses on these tend to be much thinner than the main bed, this mattress was rather worn out and I ended up sleeping rolled into the king size duvet. When I mentioned this in the morning at reception the lady there handled my complaint professionally and arranged for an alternative room. When returning in the evening a colleague at the desk was fully aware of the situation and provided the keys to the new room. In the room we found two very comfortable single beds, a Sorry card (with a hand written note) as well as some chocolates..! This was not expected but very much appreciated. I had a wonderful sleep and easily forgot about the less agreeable bed the night before. I was also informed as to what to do for a next time when booking a twin room so that the hotel could try and provide a similar twin room. Excellent service and I'll definitely be back.Thank you!

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel, the receptionist named Stacey was extremely helpful. The room was clean and tidy. I ate at the pub next door, staff were friendly and food was great. The only thing that let the whole experience down was the on site manager named Cathryn. I heard her on the phone talking badly about the staff, talking about their private business on her call in ear shot of me and other guests. She was also swearing, and talking about how she was going to go and eat next door, rather than doing her job "because she had a voucher." If it wasn't for this, I would've had no problem rating 5 stars, she was extremely rude and unprofessional.

We stayed at this hotel as we attending a function in Derby. The hotel was close to Derby town , opposite the Hospital. Great room with a comfy bed as I have come to expect from Premier Inn. The room was spotlessly clean with a large TV , coffee and tea facilities , more availible at reception if you need it.Well apointed bathroom with bath and cascade shower over it . We had an all you can eat breakfast which was fantastic full English breakfast with choice of items( Breakfast is optional at additional cost not included in room price ) , You can opt for continental breakfast at a lower price if you prefer. Highly recommended as you will find all you need for a good stay at a fair price , overall good value for money. Be aware if you have limited mobility, you have to step in the bath to shower in the room we had , check before booking to ensure your needs are catered for.
