Hotel Haverkist

I don't often give 5-star reviews, but in this case I truly have nothing to complain about. Small hotel above a bar, run by really helpful and friendly people. Simple, spacious room with big windows and lots of light. Nicely appointed bathroom with good shower. Comfy bed, on the firm side which is what I like. Very good wifi. Smart TV that allowed me to log in to Netflix. It's well positioned in an old district with lots of bars, mid way between the rail station and the marketplace and a very short walk from either. Despite being above a bar and with others around I had no noise problems - the windows are good at blocking sound, and air con means no need to have them open in summer. Admittedly I was staying on a Monday night so there was probably little noise anyway. No tea/coffee in the rooms, but free (and probably better) tea and coffee available in a communal kitchen area on the first floor. One nice touch is that the double bed has two duvets on it, so couples can have separate duvets if they prefer, and solo travellers have the choice of double warmth! A good night, and a place I will try to return to if I come to den Bosch again :)

If only I could take this hotel to everywhere I travel in the world! Lovely tall ceilings, two huge windows with street view, lovely bed linen and smart bathrooms oh, and a superb location. Some lovely bars and restaurant are just around the corner which was ideal. It was a quiet hotel and didn't hear any noise from within the hotel or the street. The staff were very accommodating and friendly and can definitely recommend. The only criticism I do have is the price of the private parking, €17.50 for the night in a private garage is rather expensive.

Door de positieve recensies, waarin wordt benoemd dat de kamers geluiddicht zijn, een kamer geboekt in dit hotel. In de kamer lagen de oordoppen al klaar... en die bleken we ook nodig te hebben. Veel uitgaansgeluiden op de zolderkamer. Mooi weer in het weekend zal dit ongetwijfeld gestimuleerd hebben. We hebben de oordoppen in gedaan en de ramen dicht gehouden (warm!). De kamer zelf is netjes, fijn bed, vriendelijk ontvangst. Locatie middenin het centrum. Maar de overlast van het geluid was toch wel een dingetje, jammer!

Een fantastisch hotel, middenin de stad. Een mooie locatie voor als je de stad Den Bosch wilt bezoeken en beleven. Dubbele ramen dus geen overlast van de geluiden buiten. De bedden lagen echt heerlijk en het ontbijt was super. Kortom wij hebben genoten en komen zeker nog eens terug.

Hotel in posizione ottimale nel centro di Den Bosch. Personale gentile, camera pulita con bagno ben organizzato e doccia confortevole. Per raggiungere la stanza ci sono due pini di scala un po’ ripida ma il personale dell’hotel si offre per portare il bagaglio, per cui nessun problema. Colazione abbondante servita nel bar dell’hotel.

Mooi hotel in de levendige Uilenburg hartje centrum Den Bosch. De Haverkist is een mooi hotel waar de Brabantse gemoedelijkheid hoog in het vaandel staat,dat merk je al direct bij de ontvangst. De kamers zijn modern ingericht en meer dan ruim genoeg. De badkamer is vrij nieuw en alles is keurig netjes schoon. De bedden zijn van goede kwaliteit. De parkeerplaats die wij reserveerden is gemakkelijk te bereiken en op loopafstand van het hotel,goed geregeld zou ik zeggen! Het ontbijt was prima in het etablissement Marie Marie wat direct onder het hotel is. Wij hadden mede door ons verblijf in Hotel De Haverkist een prachtig en gezellig weekendje Den Bosch!
