We had booked this accommodation (Room 206) directly with the hotel over call, basis the google reviews (which I have serious doubts on - upon perusal I found most of reviews are doctored and manipulated - look for common language // like - cannot fault it, broken English by Europeans guests). The room was very clean, however later found some stains on bedsheets when we opened them. The shower was broken and water pressure was extremely weak in all room outlets, we had to ask for a bucket and kettle for bath. We had requested for room change on second day but they straight away rejected. They had also arranged a full day safari with meals for $205 for two people which we later found was a rip-off. They messed up our meal preferences too. They charge additional 3% on credit card payment. The staff is very good to talk to, specially Mr. Dole. They realized we were put off and ultimately gave was 500+ LKR on the meal bill. However due to above mentioned points we were left disappointed.
