We had a great stay in Seda Davao. The location is very accessible since it's just about 20 minutes from the airport and the hotel is directly beside a mall. The staff were very courteous and approchable most especially their General Manager, Ms. Joy who welcomed us. The room was very clean and spacious, we had a good night's sleep for 2 straight nights. Special mention to Alexis of Front Office and Archie of concierge for making our stay worth remembering. The next time I visit Davao, I will definitely stay in Seda Abreeza. Daghang salamat!

Plus points: -Hotel atrium and ground floor were spacious and clean. I guess the hotel's view is to make a good first impression even if the other floors and the rooms are not as professional in appearance. -Breakfast - good choice of food -Location - close to shopping ,malls and banks -Bedroom was spacious -Maintenance staff responded quickly to fix issues (and there were issues) Negative points: -Not all the gym equipment worked. -The gym was hot and stuffy. The aircon was not on, and if you turned it on you would have to wait probably an hour before it cooled the room down to an adequate temperature to exercise at. -The pool was too small. It was more like a plunge pool rather than a pool you could swim in. -No ironing board and iron are provided in the room. Instead you have to pay someone else to iron your item of clothing, and of course they only work 9-5. Not an ideal service for the hotel to provide. -The aircon in the bedroom did not work, but once reported we were moved to a new room. -The shower door fell off its runners. Thankfully the maintenance staff responded quickly. Would I stay here again? If I had to, is the answer given the relatively low price, but I would search other places in Davao first, with a view to choosing one of these first.

Last April 1-3, this hotel was recommended to me by a friend since its very accessible to his place and many more. I checked in April 1 (Rm.302) by Ms. Risa, at first she is very accommodating. But one thing I noticed, she doesnt even explain to me anything about the services you offered, breakfast time and etc., she just gave me the key and go. Problems I encountered during the entire stay. 1. I gave Ms. Risa Php3000 for 2 nigths stay at Php1,365/night. After I paid, she didnt bother to give me a receipt and told me she will give me the change upon check out. 2. Upon check out, I was expecting to receive Php270 but she gave me only Php110. I just thought that maybe theres a tax or anything thats why I didnt bother to ask her because I was also in Hurry. April 5-8 (Rm.209), I checked in to your hotel again since I love the room and the buffet breakfast. But again, Ms. Risa checked me in and gave the key only. Problems I encountered. 1. I paid for the entire stay and again, she gave me nothing. 2. Requested to Make up my room on April 7 to Ms. Risa (again). After bfast, I told Ms. Risa to Make up my room and went outside. After 1hr I came back to the room and noticed that it wasnt made up. So I waited for almost 3hrs. At 2pm, I called front desk and Ms. Risa answered and I told her to follow up Housekeeping and she said okay. After an hour nobody came. So I decided to go outside and look for housekeepers and they said nobody informed them. So I called back again to the frontdesk and Risa told me, I never told her. Like what the Heck?! 🤷‍♂️ I called again and other frontdesk answered me and told her, “Give me housekeeper in 5mins or else find me another room.” And luckily Gigi and Ruby were very fast and accommodating. They stabilized my mood and apologized to me even its not their mistake. I called frontdesk again and told her I need your supervisor right now but unfortunately the supervisor wasnt in the premise and found out he was outside talking to somebody. The day and night passed by, no supervisor came and did nothing! May 3-6 (Rm.205) we checked in again with my partner this time celebrating our 1st anniversary. At first, we are very happy because my friends were assisted by the frontdesk and housekeeping to set up something special in the room and they did a great job. 👌💯 but unfortunately, theres something came out upon check out. 1. Ian the frontdesk called us and said our extension stay for 6hrs was almost over. I told him I talked to Ms. Maya already that will check out at 7pm. Just only 20mins extra time. It feels like they can hardly give you late check out time even they are not fullybooked. 2. Ian told me that I have to settle some charges consumed or used by my friends during the special request set up. So I was asking him what are those Items consumed or used by them? Ian just told me the total amount. Please, if theres any charges incurred during the guests stay, give them their folios or Statement of accounts. Dont jus

Malinis ung hotel at room, ok din location nya malapit sa highway if sasakay ng bus no need to go to ecoland bus terminal kasi paglabas mo abang kana lang marami bus dumadaan papntang panabo or tagum, nagustuhan namen ung pag stay namen, magbobook uli ako for our coming trip this coming july..

LA SITUACIÓN Estamos en un presupuesto y planeamos quedarse durante toda una semana. Eligimos The Strand porque la información en línea dijo que: 1) estaba en la ubicación correcta (cerca de los centros comerciales) 2) Fit nuestro presupuesto de menos de 1000 pesos por noche 3) Las fotos mostraron que era limpio y parecía bastante nuevo 4) No tenía ese motel vibe PROS: 1) Accesible - menos de 1000 por noche, hombre. 2) Amigable, alojamiento personal -- tuvimos que cambiar nuestra reserva porque nos quedaríamos en otro hotel después de nuestra primera noche en Davao, y luego volvemos a The Strand la tercera noche. Por supuesto, nos dimos esta confirmación antes de la fecha límite, pero lo que me gustaba fue que no tuvimos que hacer ninguna rebooking en línea. 3) Café de la mañana y pan -- La información booking.com dice que el desayuno no está incluido. En realidad sirven una taza de café (Nescafe 3-in-1) y una pieza de pan (pandesal encajeado) de 6am-10am. No es un substituto para un desayuno adecuado, pero puede deshacerse de la hambre mientras estás en camino a encontrar un restaurante o café. 4) Nuevo edificio -- Sólo fue construido hace 2 años 5) Limpio -- Alguna suciedad entre las azulejos de la baño pero no mucho CONS: 1) Parque de estacionamiento rápido y limitado -- Estamos rompiendo el pendiente delantero del coche, y sólo había dos aparcamientos. Otra opción es el estacionamiento en la calle, pero entonces no será tan seguro. 2) No 24-hour farmacias a pie -- Estoy enfermo y el hotel tampoco vende paracetamols. Traiga su propio kit med si usted planea quedarse aquí. 3) No hay ascensor -- sólo tienen 4 niveles, por lo que no es mucho a menos que usted sea un PWD. Sólo solicita un piso inferior en la reserva, NO en el check-in. 4) No hay jeep ni autobús parado cerca -- es un 8-10 minutos a pie del hotel a la calle más cercana con transporte público. Sugerimos La habitación es muy básica, pero es muy limpia y limpia (reservamos un estudio). La próxima vez que nos quedemos en otro lugar, podríamos estar mejor estacionados y estar más cerca de una tienda de conveniencia o farmacia.

Este albergue es muy accesible. El hotel tiene un almacén de conveniencia abajo, por lo que es un plus. También está a pie de la Mall Abreeza. Cuando vuelvo a Davao, seguramente lo reservaría de nuevo.
