Highly recommend this hotel for families. The outdoor onsen is humongous and mesmerizing. You can feel as if you’re a snow fairy enjoying the natural spa in Elsa’s winter wonderland. The onsen shower and skincare amenities were great and the cherry on top was the barley tea and vitamin c water machine in the locker area. Every guest using the onsen was polite and quiet giving each other enough space to enjoy themselves. The buffet is packed with all types of food - kids section available. Some staff spoke English and everyone was so kind and ready for their guests. Its proximity to the Shikotsu Lake was also amazing.

Al igual que otros hoteles cálidos, la habitación es más caliente, el baño es muy pequeño, se debe tener cuidado de ponerse la ropa y girar. 👍🏽Pros: - Free shuttle bus to and for Sapporo station - A variety of complimentary tea bags in the lobby - Public bath is awesome! There are 7 kinds of baths. My favorite one is the open bath, where I bathed when it was snowing. What a extraordinary experience. - Dinner and breakfast are buffet style. Many options and food is yum. - Some reviews mentioned that the facilities/room seemed old, but I found the vintage Japanese-Style room comfortable and great. I really enjoyed the stay! - There are 2 massage chairs next to public bath. 👎🏽Cons: - Not many staffs speak English so it's a bit difficult to communicate. It took a while for the front desk staff to find our bookings. - Private bath is not worth it. It's a waste of money. - Needs to put up signs about the etiquette of using public bath. When I took a shower in the public bath, the Korean group all showered while standing and kept splashing. They chatted loudly and shouted at each other. One of them even kicked water in the bath......
