Nontas Suites

The Nontas Suites shares the facilities with the Nontas Hotel, some 100 metres on the other side of a busy road, so not ideal for breakfast or using the pool. It was obviously built originally as a stand-alone hotel, but is manned by Nontas staff during the morning. The staff were fantastic and very helpful, but this "annex"hotel would be better if the rooms were fully self-catering. Our room number 11 had only coffee making facilities, but no cooking rings or cutlery or crockery. It had a hot tub on the balcony. The storage for clothing was poor, with not enough space for three adults, some cupboard space was very high up. The housekeeping was excellent, with bed linen and towels changed daily. When reception was manned (during the morning), the staff were always helpful and friendly.

Stayed in room 13 for a week in June.As mentioned previously this room was directly facing a busy main road. To be honest it was not an issue for us but it could be a problem if you like peace and quiet.Good location 5 mins stroll to the beautiful beaches and very near numerous tavernas and supermarkets Room spotless cleaned every day but Sunday .Beds comfortable and air conditioning available if required at 7 euros per day Was able to keep the room from 11am to 5 45pm due to late pick up but we're charged 60 euros for the pleasure. The only downside to the room was the kitchen which was horrendous. All in all a good stay in a great resort

Just back from a two week stay. The apts are on a very busy road which sometimes was very difficult to cross. As the beach and the main hotel with the pool was situated on opposite side of this road it could not be avoided. Would not recommend elderly people or people with young childen stay here. Our apt was luckily at rear of property but we could still hear the road noise The kitchen area was very basic only kettle and two ring hob no toaster so cooking breakfast (the only meal we cook) was very limited . The apt itself was one bedroomed and very good size and the beds very comfortable. Cleaner came in every day apart from Sundays and towels and bedding changed on a regular basis. Bathroom had a shower cubicle so floor did not get wet so that was a big plus. On the whole we enjoyed our stay but would not stay here again due to its location and road noise

Had a great week here. The hotel very clean- cleaner amazing. The hotel is really well situated for shops.tavernas and beaches . The food and drinks are good value. All staff very friendly.The rooms have all the furniture, kitchen equipment you will need.

We stayed in a 1 bed apartment in the Nontas suites for 3 weeks September/October. We stayed in the hotel in May but as we don't use the pool much we thought we'd try the newly refurbished apartments just over the road. We weren't disappointed. Our room was spacious and quiet being at the back of the building away from the busy road. If I had to look for anything to improve our stay it would be some form of shade on the terrace as we couldn't use it from about 10am to 4pm as it was so hot. The cleaning staff are very efficient and friendly and Filio on reception is really welcoming and helpful. The pool area at the hotel over the road is lovely anc the staff at the pool bar are friendly. Yes, there are always little niggles - some people may miss a hair dryer (not us), the shower is typically Greek with no shower screen so the bathroom floor gets wet and a toaster would be nice, but I would still choose to stay here whenever we return to Kato Doratso because we felt comfortable and at home. Great stay at Nontas Suites There is nothing not to like about staying at Nontas Suites. The ease of access to the beaches which are a short walk away. You can't fault its location as everything is just a short walk or you can hop on a bus and venture out further. You also have access to the facilities in the parent building across the road, like the pool and a bar. Now if you need any help or advice on anything to do with either your accommodation, things to do or how to get around then you have Filio to help you out, she is one of the nicest receptionists you can get. We will be returning as you can't fault it at all.

For a short stay ok For a short stay it was ok. Free Parking very close and easy to access. Positive: Parking (free), very friendly staff, fast check in, A/C, location, balcony, cleaness. Negative only the bathroom. Very small, no shower curtain and low water pressure.

Amazing place. Perfect location for a chilled holiday, yet within easy reach of Chania centre. The staff here were amazing - Raphael, George and Martha worked so hard on the bar and the rooms were always cleaned to a high standard too. I travelled on my own with my 2 children and sent an email to request a room near to the pool. Upon arrival I had a perfect room Over looking the pool. Will definitely be back. Thank you Nontas for an amazing 11 days!
