Habitación limpia, con buenos estándares para una estancia económica. Muy limpia. Se requiere orientación sobre el uso del calentador de agua.

Tuve que alojarme en este hotel debido a una complicación con un vuelo. Era tarde por la noche y el personal de recepción fue amable. Es un hotel bastante modesto, pero por el precio me pareció justo. El aire acondicionado no lograba mantener la habitación fresca, pero pude descansar bien por la noche. Es un hotel conveniente para ir al aeropuerto, a solo unos 10 minutos.

Well, you get what you pay for. Everything is very basic and it’s very difficult to get a good nights sleep as the flight path is directly over the hotel and there is no sound-proofing.  The room was relatively clean, but the bathroom had a septic smell to it coming from the drain, and the bed wasn’t very comfortable.  3 positive aspects: - Location to the airport (which is what I wanted due to an early morning flight). - The staff were friendly.  - Airport drop off was included.

If all you want is a place to stretch out close to the airport between flights then this place is fine. It was hard to reach them to arrange the transfer from the airport but the driver was there to pick up someone else so it worked out ok. It is very close to the airport (approx. 7 minutes). The room was tiny and it was only a double bed so things were tight. The shower is open to the bathroom so the floor floods around the sink and the toilet. We headed back to the airport very early and did not have the breakfast. They do have a tiny restaurant with a limited menu on site but we didn't eat there.

This is a very decent hotel. The staff is helpful, and the food is remarkably high quality. It's also just a 5-minute drive from the airport, making it ideal for avoiding Dar's busy traffic. It's not cheap, but overall, it's worth the price.

The hotel has a good location, the rooms are spacious enough, and the restaurant food is decent. On paper, it should have been a comfortable stay. Unfortunately, the service that worked during the night between the 31st of August and 1st of September completely ruined the experience. We had to check out at 4:00am on Monday (1.09) and were hoping for a quiet night of rest instead of waiting at the airport. Instead, the receptionist played loud music from his phone between 10:00pm and 1:00am, laughing and talking to someone on the phone at high volume until midnight. Just as we finally fell asleep, his one person party escalated as he started playing music again at 1:00am, singing and whistling. When I asked him to stop, he did but then continued dragging heavy wooden chair for another 30 minutes before finally quieting down. We managed to fall asleep only around 1:30am. In the morning, he even asked how the night was as if he didn’t already know. Honestly, airplanes approaching Dar es Salaam airport are quieter than the receptionist was. Overall, while the hotel itself is fine, the arrogant and rude behavior of the night staff completely overshadowed the positives. Will never visit again.

The best value for money in Dar. Most hotels are overpriced and short on delivery... this one is low cost. No frills. More than acceptable in terms of staff and amenities... its a stones throw from the airport and I will certainly use it a lot more often. The airport collect and drop off service is great. Meals are fine. If you want a great meal then weather the traffic into Dar. At the Transit Lodge they are acceptable. Its noisy.That's OK. If you stay next to an airport expect planes to make a noise. The only issue I had was that the doors have glass panels above the door and they allow light to steam into the room when you try and sleep. If these could be covered, it would make an enormous difference.

The hotelcrew is incredibly helpfull and kind. During our stay, they offered to pick us up from the airport in the middle of the night and made sure everything was always in order, breakfast and dinner included. The room was very clean and well managed. Definetly would recommend spending the night here!

camera ok a parte piccolo problema con la doccia. Staff super, disponibilita ottima colazione nella norma, cucina sempre aperta per la cena , ottimo per vicinanza aeroporto transfer da/a aeroporto free. E' già la seconda volta che ci veniamo e lo consigliamo.

Ideale per il transito a Dar tra un aereo e l’altro. L’hotel si trova vicino all’aeroporto e offre il servizio transfer a/r gratuito. Le stanze sono dignitose. Il bagno, avendo solo il soffione della doccia, tende ad allagarsi. Sarebbe opportuno posizionare fuori dalla camera un tappetino fuori dalla porta de bagno per asciugarsi i piedi. L’hotel dispone anche di una cucina che offre una quantità limitata di piatti a prezzi nella norma. Nonostante avessi fatto la prenotazione con colazione inclusa (della quale non usufruisco mai perché ho i voli la notte) non mi è stata offerta nessuna bevanda calda la notte (il servizio è disponibile solo a pagamento). Su questa cosa potrebbero essere più flessibili visto che viene utilizzato solo per il transito. Lo consiglio solo per una notte.
