I would have given this homestay a perfect score of 100 out of 5 if possible, it's truly exceptional! Location: Ideally situated on the north side of old town Dali, it's conveniently accessible on foot or by electric bike. The surrounding area boasts a variety of trendy shops, yet remains far enough from the bustling streets to ensure a peaceful atmosphere. Amenities: The room is equipped with modern amenities and cutting-edge technology, although we unfortunately couldn't fully utilize them due to our limited Chinese language skills. The rooms are immaculately clean, and the bed is incredibly soft and comfortable - I mean soft by Western standards - one of the best beds we've encountered on our trip so far. Service: I can't praise their service enough! The husband and wife owners went above and beyond, calling us before our arrival to confirm our arrival time. During our stay, they arranged pickup and dropoff services for us, despite the crowds in old town due to the festival. They even helped carry our luggage up and down the stairs. They were kind enough to gift us fridge magnets as farewell gifts. Their helpfulness and valuable tips and recommendations made our stay truly memorable. Dali wouldn't have been the same without the homestay's owners - they deserve far more recognition!
