The service is great. There’s no need to carry your luggage or walk for pick-up or drop-off at 双廊半岛超市—someone will handle your bags and bring you over on a buggy. I was even upgraded to a room with a view. Each time you enter or leave, you’ll be warmly greeted by the same individual, likely the manager, who also reminds guests to dress warmer if the temperature dips. Breakfast (8:30-10:30) changes daily, and they warm up milk (21:00-22:00) if you’d like some. There’s also a bar on site, though I didn’t try it this time. The room is thoughtfully furnished with a Marshall speaker (Bluetooth) and diffuser, and you can even choose the scent you prefer. The location is ideal for anyone seeking both convenience and tranquillity. It’s close to many attractions: right next to the pier and 双廊古镇, and about a 15-minute walk to the gallery and exhibition at Yang Liping’s former residence (杨丽萍太阳宫). It’s walking distance to a few popular eateries as well. You may need to walk abit if you’re going to the viral cafes further out near Muxi Dali (alternatively, you can get those buggy to transport you at a fee). It becomes peaceful in the evenings once the day-trippers leave, so you can enjoy the sunrise and sunset in calm surroundings—perfect for sipping a cup of Yunnan tea while taking in the view (see photos).

Amazing view of Er Hai from the terrace. Service staff were very polite and helpful. Shout out to 果果! Lovely girl who helped us settle in and even brought us extra chairs so we can have a drink on the terrace balcony with the whole family. If I were to visit shuang lang again, I will definitely choose to stay here again. A few nights. :)

Service was super. I honestly think the 3 young service staff I interacted with had better attitude and service mindset than Japanese service staff who themselves are renowned for their high customer service level. (I go to Japan monthly). The young petit lady was especially impressive. She could carry one 24-inch luggage of at least 20kg on each hand and walk from hotel to their 3-wheeler. She went the extra mile to help coordinate our follow-on transportation arrangement and made sure we enjoyed our stay. I wish I have staff like them.

We had the pleasure of staying at Erhai Xinglai Lakeview Inn in picturesque Dali, and our experience was nothing short of magical. Important tip: Dali's cobblestone streets can be challenging for luggage, so be sure to call the hotel in advance to arrange for their free pickup service. Upon arrival, we were treated to a delightful tea break, complete with fresh fruits and fragrant rose tea. Witnessing the chef meticulously prepare the fruit platter for 30 minutes was a testament to the hotel's attention to detail and commitment to excellence. It's clear that every aspect of our stay was crafted with love. The hotel offers thoughtful amenities, including: - Photography package for capturing memories - Nighttime milk service, delivering warm milk to your doorstep before bed - Cozy library with an impressive selection of adult fiction, non-fiction, and children's books Near the hotel, there are live singing performances in the evenings, featuring talented vocalists performing ********* and Chinese classics (we enjoyed listening from the comfort of our room!) The staff's warm hospitality, combined with the hotel's charming ambiance and thoughtful touches, made our stay in Dali truly unforgettable. Quiet space. Menu with many dishes. Clean, fully equipped. The hotel is centrally located, very convenient for traveling. Especially the staff is extremely friendly and enthusiastic, I got a lot of useful information.

雙廊確實不是出行的首選（遊客太多，商業化嚴重，過於喧鬧），但是洱海醒來真的給了我們太多美好的體驗。 地理位置極佳。鎮上幾家新開的網紅海景酒店，親水房很美，但是位置太靠裏。洱海醒來出門不遠就是玉幾島、民族文化街和古鎮，吃喝逛玩啥都方便。 氛圍舒適愜意。雖然處在核心區，衹要一回到酒店，馬上就被安逸靜謐的氣氛包裹。靠窗座曬太陽發呆看海景，沙發座大書架沉浸式閲讀不受打擾，怎麼都美。 服務靠譜周到。管家經驗豐富極了，特別能為客人着想，高峯期控場能力強，不會怠慢任何一位客人。每天免費下午茶好看又好吃，早飯的煎蛋餅和小菜更是一絕。贈送的旅拍效果很滿意。 硬要説缺點，可能房間面積偏小，因為開業20年，設施稍稍舊一點。趕上風大的時候房間有點冷，好在屋裡有電暖氣和電熱毯。
