Coming from Singapore, we appreciated that halal food was relatively easy to find in the area, though the best options were closer to the ancient city. Just keep in mind the slightly longer travel time to the ancient city if you’re planning frequent trips there.

Room was q big however there was a lot of house flies. There is a rooftop terrace which has great view of erhai in the day and stars at night. Our booking came with free bicycle rental and afternoon tea which was not bad. We informed them late and they were unable to send us to the train station however they booked a didi for us.
