I highly recommend that all Africans throughout the diaspora visit Benin Republic for historical purposes. When you plan your trip, you must stay at the Benin Royal Hotel. I will begin with the lovely people who work there. They are so kind and gracious. They make you feel like a special and honored guest. My husband and I visited and were treated like royalty by the front desk staff, the people who serve your food, the chef, the housekeeping staff, and the breakfast team. If you need anything, just ask for it. Remember that you are visiting a very hot climate, so things need frequent repair. Just bring it to the attention of the staff, and someone will ring your bell in moments to attend to the problem. The team wants to make sure you have a wonderful time. In fact, as we were checking out, the management noticed us struggling with our luggage, and dropped everything to help us down the stairs-she was dressed up for a function and he was wearing a suit-but they didn't hesitate! The place is so beautiful that during our week there, they hosted several meetings and conferences, a photo shoot, and a wedding. The location is nicely situated, and you can walk outside and get a taxi or a moped anywhere. The shuttle is complimentary, and so is the delicious, breakfast buffet. The outdoor restaurant has a beautiful view and wonderful, fresh food. The hotel can connect you with a driver-ask for Mr. Abou. Mr. Abou is a safe and effective driver, with a nice car that he keeps clean and has working a/c. Additionally, he is friendly and personable and has deep roots in the region. He knows his way around and knows the best places to see. To sum it up-come to Benin Republic and stay at the Benin Royal Hotel!

El hotel está muy bien situado, pero no se puede encontrar en el hotel. Me desperté cada mañana a las 7:00 por tanto ruido que el personal hace. Oh! Doblemente cerrarán las puertas delanteras del interior con las llaves y la puerta de hierro. Si un incendio empieza cada uno dentro sólo morirá. La mañana del desayuno era horrible todos los días mis huevos siempre estaban fríos. Mi chequeo fue un pesadilla. Me sobrecargué 40pds en mi tarjeta de crédito mi banco se está ocupando ahora de esto. El lugar como un montón de poetrncial debido a la ubicación y la limpieza. La única persona que sabe lo que hacen en el establecimiento es el limpiador.. No es un hotel barato, pero el servicio era muy pobre. Trabajar con el personal debidamente sobre cómo comunicarse con los huéspedes y dejar de cerrar las puertas delanteras de la puerta de la noche.
