El Trebol For a Three Star - no complaints Rooms - Spacious and clean. Fridge, Air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, Hairdryer and Free Safe, separate bedroom. Big Balcony Restaurant Different theme every night, to prevent repetitiveness of AI. Fresh meats cooked every night. Staff always helpful and keeping the restaurant very tidy. Coffee machine could maybe be done with another one at busier times but always managed to get a cup. Pool Lifeguards were great and helpful with inflatables etc Pool slightly cold when entering in October but soon got used too it. Didn’t seem to be an issue for any of the kids. Location Short walk to the beach, close to shops etc. Bus stop to the mall, 5 min walk away. Entertainment The three girls did a great job. Very friendly. Pool table in main entertainment area. Mini-golf, darts, football, aqua zumba.

Los apartamentos El Trebol de locos, pero los recreativos de al lado son para evitar por completo, te acaba saliendo a 80€ el bocadillo. Encima el camarero Wild aparece solo cuando le conviene. No volveré.

Hemos estado una semana y no ha encantado, el personal super amable, la comida buena y variada (había cenas temáticas), muy tranquilo (no hay ruidos ni molesitas por la noche) y está cerca de la playa, donde se puede contratar cursos de windsurf o el material.

We came back again 14 months after our last visit to celebrate my birthday. Yet again, great friendly staff and the expected selection of mixed foods across the week that should suit all tatstes across the board. If you're that fussy then go self catering. We can't really comment on the kids entertainment as we didn't bring any with us. The night we watched the adults entertainment it was a good laugh, and the entertainment staff really threw themselves into it trying to entertain the guests. The only drinks complaint I'd say is that the beer in the AI is supposed to be Amstel but it is much gassier than Amstel bought in bars in the town. Also, their 'Baileys' should really be refrigerated once opened and NOT kept alongside the other spirits as it is a dairy based alcohol and can make people sick if it's not kept this way. The wife felt a little queasy after a drinking it and we discovered its not kept on ice or in a fridge. Couple of points that we noticed that maybe management could address with a couple of signs... - GUESTS TO DRESS APPROPRIATELY WHEN USING THE RESTAURANT - GUESTS TO REMEMBER TO WASH THEIR HANDS WHEN USING THE TOILETS Couple of simple things as noticed a few guests 'forgetting' to wash their hands after using the toilet then going to restaurant and getting cutlery from holders that others use too. Hotel could ensure that hand sanitiser is available in the toilets. Guests using the restaurant with half their body hanging out, along with signs advising guests to cover up properly, maybe staff could enforce. However, yet again, a great stay and I would recommend El Trebol to others and would happily stay here for a third time.

Decided on this place for a late Easter break having seen many a good review. Upon arrival we were greeted by a very nice male receptionist, helpful, polite and welcoming, named Miguel, I think? (The other male receptionist upon leaving on the 06/04 was really miserable!) Reception was nice and very clean. We were given our room 222 which was just out of reception and up one flight of stairs. Perfect position, not far to the canteen (yes canteen not restaurant) and close all the hotel amenities. Room. Our room was slightly bigger and well laid out because it was just off a slight corner so the living area was a good space. Huge balcony with the sun on from 2.30pm till sun down. All in all an excellent space Now the problems - bathroom door would not shut, over whelming smell of bathroom sealant and generally the room was dirty. The beds hadn't been made up for the children on our booking so we had to pop back to reception and ask. The Mattress protector was absolutely disgusting so we had to have that changed as well. I did collar the cleaner who came in and gave the floor a very quick sweep. The cleaner was very poor throughout the holiday, attention to detail wasn't just lacking it was non existent - We wore pop socks while in the rooms the whole time as your feet would be black! If your going as a family of 4 in a one bed apartment you will struggle for wardrobe space, literally no storage in the living area. Pool & Pool bar area. The pools were huge and well laid out. Big one was freezing but the smaller one by the bridge was nice and warm. Kids slides are a fantastic addition but again very cold. The big pool was much better when the weather hit 28/29c. Plenty of sunbeds so that was never a problem, although if you wanted a prime spot you would have to be down before breakfast to bag one. Pool bar is nice, its just the food and drink served from there that isn't. Never in my life have I seen a hotel transfer the left over hot breakfast items to a pool side snack bar, seriously. Eventually these were replaced by Burgers, hot dogs, fries, onion rings, tuna pasties, cold meats, salad etc. I liked the burgers, they were of reasonable quality and made a good cheese burger, however these ran out 3 days into our 11 night holiday with the staff unsure when they'll have them again, and we never did have them again.... The tuna sandwich from the snack bar was great to, but like the burgers never got restocked. Canteen & Club House (Restaurant & Piano Bar) No its not a restaurant, its a canteen. Tables are not laid, you have to fetch you own cutlery and napkins. My advice is get there as they open the doors at 6pm as from 6.45pm till 8pm you'll struggle to get seated. People were queuing at the door. Breakfast, same things every morning. Luke warm hot selection. Pancakes made fresh but often unavailable as a lot of the children were grabbing 3 or 4 at a time, eggs were hit and miss, omelette available but no flavour like cheese or ham offered

Just came home from a lovely stay with some friends and I have to say, the week spent here was wonderful. Service: We felt very welcome upon our arrival, everyone at the reception was very accommodating. Big thanks to Daniel! Food: For the price point of the hotel we really cannot fault the food, there was always something for everyone. The breakfast was especially nice. Entertainment: The evening acts were fun but we mostly spent our nights at the bar. For daytime activities, we loved participating in the games. We just have one bone to pick: overall, all the tui activity people were sweet and nice to talk to (Big thanks to Kennedy, Maya, and Silja! However there was a woman, Iggy I believe her name was, who would give nasty looks and rude remarks when asked questions which made us not feel very welcome. The hotel and Tui should know what kind of people they hire! It's not fair for the rest of the hosts to get a bad rep because of her! Now I do not want to end this on a bad note: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay despite one bump in the road haha!

If you have a rule that you cannot have a glass outside then that should be for everyone. I went out by the door and got stopped by a member of staff and felt belittled that she came after me with a plastic beaker. If she had done her job correct in the first place people sitting outside would not have had glasses on the tables. Having spent the night buying drinks in the bar even though it’s supposed to be all inclusive I think is a rip off. This is not acceptable. So please make sure anyone who drinks outside have plastic beakers and don’t let any glasses go on the terraced area. If this is for h&s reasons you need to be aware that this needs to be for everyone. So your staff need too be more vigilant or do their job properly.
