Un hotel de primera, de muy buen gusto y mejor servicio, comodas y atractivas habitaciones, céntrico, puedes caminar cómodamente hasta los sitios de interés turístico. El servicio de su restaurant sobrepasa cualquier expectativa que puedas tener, todos se desbordaron en atenciones y la comida rica.

Our room was comfortable. It was a good size, modern decor, and modern bathroom fixtures with a large tiled shower stall. The hotel had 2 elevators. activated by room keys. This hotel chain prefers jars of Body Wash to soap. Not having an iphone, I appreciated using the computer in their business room to do emails. There isn't really a lobby area at the entrance, but the cocktail and bar lounge, connected to a small dining area, serve as sitting areas when waiting for others. We arrived tired from a day of travel so we were delighted to eat in the hotel's dining room for an evening meal rather than go exploring for a restaurant. The prices for evening meals in the hotel cafe were reasonable with a discount offered on 2 and 3 courses. The Bacon and Chicken Salad (15E) I ordered was delicious and dinner size, and desserts like Eton Mess were around 6.75E. During the day, the hotel has a coffee shop (scones 3E) with both indoor and outdoor seating. Could take away the pastries and enjoy them in the room where coffee and tea and kettle were free to use. No bakery shop was nearby. The hotel is within walking distance of the English Market (a bakery counter here) and shopping streets like St. Patrick's Street. For us, it was a good choice for an overnight stay with Insight coach tours.

I got a room with a window facing the in-door atrium, which meant not having a window with daylight. For the price I paid, I would expect to have a room with a window with daylight. Spa was not clean and I didn't enjoy it at all. Breakfast was not good either. I won't stay with Clayton again.

Des de nuestra Agencia de viaje contratamos un paquete que incluía alojamiento con desayuno y vuelo de idea y vuelta. Nuestra sorpresa feu que al llegar al hotel y que teniamos reservada una habitacions triple y una de doble. La primera tenia una cama de matrimonio de 1,35 y la otra de 90. Pedimos si tenian una cama supletoria y nos digeron que no tenian habitaciones con tres camas. Qual feu nuestar solucion poner el colchon de 90 al suelo y dormir 6 noche en el suelo, el companyero en el somier de 90 y el otro en la otra cama. El tercer día cuando nos disponíamos a salir de la habitación fuimos asaltados por una empleada preguntándonos cuando nos marcábamos diciéndole el día 18 por la mañana, dirigiéndonos al comedor a desayunar. No hacia ni cinco minutos que estábamos sentados que vino la manager general cuyo nombre no prefiero acordarme y delante del resto de la clientela nos dijo que debíamos dos noches cuál cosa no era cierto. Le digamos a esta señora que en finalizar el desayuno nos pasaríamos por la recepción y que no teníamos ningún problema en solucionar el problema que era de l’agencia con el hotel puesto que nosotros ya habíamos pagado nuestra estancia. Fuimos a la habitación a buscar la documentación que teníamos de la reserva y nuestra sorpresa fue que nos habían desactivado las llaves magnéticas no podiendo entrar y reteniendo nuestros efectos personales. Al bajar a la recepción otro empleada nos dijo que no nos activaba las llaves hasta que no pagasemos dieciendole que el dinero y las tarjetas de credito estaban en la habitación. Finalmente y sin tenerlo que hacer pagamos. Tuvimos que sentir que éramos unos morosos, que no queríamos pagar. Pedimos la hoja de reclamaciones y nos dio un folio A4 en blanco y un bolígrafo para hacer la queja. Una vez hicimos el pago la manager général nos dio un vale de 50€ para consumir en la cafetería y no nos cobro los 30€ del aparcamiento. El día que nos acusaron de morosos, ese día no nos hicieron la habitación. Durante nuestra estancia en el hotel, tuvimos que reclamar que nos pusieran las toallas limpias, que pusieran papel de baño y que vaciaran la papelera de baño. Ni siquiera se preocuparon ni se interesaron en pedirnos o intentar arreglar el hecho de estar durmiendo en el suelo. Total despreocupación por parte de la dirección y el día que nos íbamos de l’hôtel la manager général ni siquiera se acercó a saludar o a despedirse. La manager général cambio de actitud en decirle que haríamos un escrito de lo mal que habíamos estado tratados y atendidos. Nota. Queremos agradecer a LAURA empleada de l’hôtel que nos ayudó, traduciendo el que la manager général decía en inglés. Dicho esto lo expuesto es verdad sin exagerar nada en absoluto.

The Dean Cork was absolutely fabulous. It was within walking distance to everything in Cork... great shops, dining, and other points of interest within the city. The room was perfect... the bed was VERY comfortable.... and the hotel was a quick walk from the train station. Check-in/Check-out was a breeze, and the staff at the hotel were friendly and attentive. The hotel itself is luxurious, has great dining on-site, and every amenity imaginable for a relaxing and pampered stay in Cork. If I have the opportunity to be in Cork again... I will definitely stay at 'The Dean'.

Just had my sons wedding at the Address in Cork city. Thank you to the most amazing friendly staff for providing us with a wonderful day. The service, the rooms, and the wedding venue was absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere was lovely not just because of the people but also because of the rich historical vibe and character of the hotel itself. The rooms were spacious, warm and clean. The whole day went like clockwork and everyone who attended the day felt like a wonderful memory was made. I would not hesitate in recommending this hidden jewel of a hotel to anyone wanting to have a special stylish day.

El estilo tradicional, la habitación confortable, el restaurante y el bar son muy amables y un buen desayuno

I am in love with their bed!! It’s the best I’ve ever slept on. So in love, I had to investigate to find out who makes their bed: it’s by the natural sleep company. I slept deliciously and I will now get a bed like that for my home. The employees were quite kind and helpful too. Clearly, from the bed alone, they invest in quality. It’s a gorgeous building and exquisitely maintained with a magnificent old world charm. I hope this gem lasts for ages and doesn’t succumb to the boring, overly modern, cookie cutter trope a lot of hotels have fallen into. I will return for sure.

This was not my first time here but the experience is worthy of special mention. The food was exceptional ” Braised Bandon Featherblade of beef ” melt in the mouth stuff. Our hostess for the evening Andrea was knowlegable as to the menu choices etc and charming, this despite being busy with a rather large group at the same time. top marks to all concerned I hope to be back Soon. Great location to visit the wildlife park but it’s not walkable. Room was lovely. It had everything we needed. Peaceful nights sleep too. You have to pre book the leisure club and children are only allowed at certain times meaning we missed out in the morning as my 13yr old wasn’t allowed in until 9am but we had to leave then. Breakfast: Choice of food was amazing. Absolutely everything on offer. We were a bit rushed because we had the titanic experience booked so had to be punctual. We had to chase up the toast 3 times. It was the only thing my son would eat so couldn’t let it slide. Then it arrived stone cold so they apologised and redid it for him. Overall it was a lovely hotel and included some nice touches like Lily O”Brien chocolates in the room, a coffee maker and free bottle of wine for Deluxe rooms. Turn down service was a welcome surprise too.
