"This small city has a beautiful man-made river, a real 'river walk' experience. There are boat tours with commentary, and it's thoughtfully designed with half the area dedicated to restaurants and the other half to scenic views. It takes about half an hour to walk the entire loop."

"Extremely welcoming , personable, and informative hosts. Made our family feel as though we were visiting family members out of town. Property is very relaxing, beautiful country side, interesting history, and plenty of animals to watch or interact with. We met Fonzie their pet deer, so cute . Both rooms we had were very clean and well furnished. Only item my wife missed was a full length mirror. Breakfast was delicious both days , hosts very accommodating if we needed anything special. Highly recommend staying at this property for those interested in relaxing, fun, historical location, and perfect hosts"

"Too minimal for price!! Especially for off season! Lamp wouldn’t even work (bulb out?)  TV is so small can barely see it which I guess doesn’t matter since you only receive 4 stations and even those are in/out. DVD player would have been more helpful if we would have been told about the DVD’s available at check in vs after 8/closing hours."
