A lovely isolated venue to get away from it all and soak up the sounds of the sea. The studio rooms are good, although the beds could do with a headboard- a few times I woke up with the pillars on the floor behind the bed. The pool is small, but adequate and there are plenty of other spaces to chill out and bathe in solitude. The shoreline is very tidal and you don’t get to water above knee height until you get over 100 metres out, but, once you get to deep water there is a very impressive reef with lots of fish and even sharks- of the safe variety. The food is of a reasonable standard, but it’s a limited menu and after 3 days, I think I had covered everything I could possibly eat. I do recommend the shrimp curry. Breakfasts were very good. There is work to do in customer service here- although the staff are very cooperative and pleasant, there are not many smiles shown and they seem to be a bit stuck in their ways and timelines. Requesting to have dinner at 7.30pm seemed an issue, as they came knocking on our door at 7.20pm and the food was already out! Playing pool with another couple until 9pm seemed an irritation to them and a request to have breakfast at 7.30am instead of the usual 8am start fell on deaf ears as we sat there from 7.30am until 8am when breakfast was then served..,, no big deal, but this place could be amazing with some thought and planning on making the facilities and staff as well as the location fantastic too.

Muy limpio y todo está en el nivel superior. La zona del hotel es agradable, limpio y hermoso en todas partes. Sentimos seguro, habitaciones y territorios bajo guardia. Limpieza de habitaciones todos los días, sin solicitud. El hostal es muy atento y responsable. Le ofrecí un scooter para alquilar, desayuno cada mañana a petición. Llamaba a un taxi al aeropuerto a un buen precio. Todo lo que dije y siempre fue en comunicación 👍 uno de los mejores lugares en Asia donde estuvimos el año pasado. Gracias y recomenda con valentía.

At a first glance hotel was pleasant, decorated nicely & clean. However no hot water on the first day we asked for someone to check it whom he said it’s broken, maintenance will be in tomorrow to fix it. 4 days later still nobody has fixed the shower and we’re still having cold showers. Room hasn’t been cleaned in that time either although stated it would be every other, no clean towels, no toilet roll, no water to drink (even if paid for) Tours are extremely expensive through this hotel so advise to to research elsewhere for cheaper options. Building works going on which blew dust into the room and covering our clothes/bags & bed. Screaming little kids with no respect for other guests outside the bedroom window at 6am after politely asking them to move along and be quieter they stayed and continued to shout. Buffet breakfast is gone unless you get there before start time (7am) and limited food allowed - don’t eat the pancakes either couldn’t be rawer if the chef tried. Wifi non existent on 3rd floor, Only positive is the pillows were comfy.

Soy un hotelero, así que cada vez que me reserva y quedarme en un hotel, siempre comprobo la habitación entera primero, desde las cocinas y las hojas de baño, etc. Y estoy muy impresionado con este lugar, uno de los hoteles más limpios que he permanecido en.. La cama es muy cómoda, el personal es muy bienvenido y útil; el hotel está en una zona tranquila lejos del área turística de la ciudad, también sirven un desayuno muy bueno junto con algunos frutos, su piscina es uno de mis favoritos, El agua es caliente, aunque ya es hora de la noche, todavía puede disfrutarlo.

Me alojé en este hotel 8 días. Check-in: solo pagó en efectivo. Muy eficiente. Tómese 1 minuto Sin ascensor, pero mi maleta pesada estaba en la habitación, en el piso de la calle 1 en 10 segundos. Habitación muy limpia con aire acondicionado silencioso. Gran baño con ducha de agua caliente. Podría hacer con una alfombra de baño afuera. El piso es de madera pulida, muy agradable pero resbaladizo. Gran vista a una piscina grande y bien cuidada. Como bonus limpiar spapool adyacente. El desayuno buffet es bueno y amplio pero no llega tarde. No hay cereales para el desayuno. Cena: buena variedad, pero podría esperar un poco. Los domingos solo hay 1 cocinero. La piscina está muy bien cuidada y limpia. Los tricículos están en la puerta y te llevan a todas partes. A partir de PHP 100.

La zona es muy remota y muy tranquila, así que el lugar ideal para resistir la vida de la ciudad.

Los anfitriones son hospitalarios y nos ayudaron con cualquier solicitud. El hotel en sí no es muy grande, pero sí pintoresco, con plantas por todas partes. La habitación está bien, pero sería bueno renovarla en algunos lugares. Y me gustaría más limpieza. Recomiendo no dejar comida en la habitación, las termitas (hormigas) vendrán corriendo enseguida.

Came here with family and it felt like we were staying somewhere from a storybook. The road to get there is a little bumpy at the end but so worth it. The staff were so lovely and friendly. Rooms immaculately clean with drinking water provided in the room. Aircon was awesome. As soon as you arrive, you’re enveloped by a huge sense of calm. We went snorkeling and saw 2 turtles within the first 30 mins. My favorite moment was falling asleep to the sound of waves in one of the beach huts and then enjoying a bonfire before dinner set by the water. Sunset was also so beautiful. Can’t wait to be back and highly recommend Hale Manna to everyone coming to Moalboal if you’re looking for a peaceful and gorgeous date with Mother Nature. Thank you, Hale Manna team 🥰
