A stunning location, especially when all of the day trippers have disappeared. If you want peace and tranquillity this could be the place for you. Booked with TUI, logistics were not really explained ahead of our stay, we flew on a TUI flight, there were 3 TUI flights that landed at a similar time and about 100 people transferred to the island at the same time, firstly by coach to Gruz port (approx 25 minutes) where you then board the boat which is specially chartered. I don’t see the advantage of a private transfer from the airport, the boat doesn’t leave until everyone is present, so you are gaining nothing by arriving at the port separately. If you are arriving with another carrier, eg EasyJet, I believe that you transfer on the local ferry but I am happy to be corrected on that point. When you arrive on Kolocep it is a short walk to the hotel. At this point I would like to stress that anyone with any kind of mobility issue will struggle with the location, from getting on/off the boat to walking around the hotel which requires navigating inclines and steps to get to the accommodation blocks and facilities. There are no lifts. We arrived ahead of the official check in time and having read previous reviews took swimwear and the necessary accessories so that we could immediately relax. It is worth noting that although our room was available after we had lunch, our luggage still hadn’t been delivered so I was grateful for the advice of previous guests. Tip: do not remove the airline’s luggage label when you arrive in Dubrovnik, this is used to marry up your baggage to your room. We had booked a standard double room, it was clean, spacious and airy. There is plenty of hanging space and drawers with a safe provided free of charge in the wardrobe, and an umbrella too (thankfully it wasn't required). There is no amenity kit in the bathroom, the hairdryer is adequate. Bathroom towels just about cover your modesty. The bed (double) wasn’t brilliant, it was a king size but only a queen size duvet provided – really not good enough. The pillows were soft and well past their sell by date. Bizarrely the net curtain on the window was about a foot too short so we had to have the curtains semi closed. The balcony just about accommodates 2 chairs and affords no privacy from adjacent rooms. The fridge contained 4 bottles of water that were replenished daily, it would have been nice to have also had some soft drinks provided, maybe even a beer too. There is a kettle, tea and coffee were initially supplied but thereafter we had to help ourselves to rations from the restaurant. Pool towels are provided in reception and are in plentiful supply, but it is frowned upon to take them to your room and when I was given our room key, I was forbidden to collect a couple! I really don’t understand why they issue towel cards. The pool is clean opens at 0800 every morning at which point towels are laid down, it is supposed to be monitored but I saw a lot of evidence of

We had an amazing experience at this hotel! The service was exceptional, especially thanks to Luka, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. His friendly demeanor and willingness to show us around made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel itself was fantastic, with comfortable rooms and excellent amenities. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a memorable and pleasant stay.

Me and my partner stayed at this hotel for my birthday. We originally booked into the royal Ariston but was put in this hotel ( all royal hotels are connected and easily accessible). We booked a sea view room and it was absolutely stunning with beautiful views from a spacious balcony. Room was very big and amenities were excellent. There were multiple pools and swimming spots throughout and loads of bars and restaurants to chose from. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. Me and my partner loved the on the rocks bar which has amazing views . I also received a voucher for fee Prosecco and cake on my birthday which was lovely. I stayed at this hotel around 10 years ago would definitely return in the future. Overall would highly recommend to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing holiday.

El personal excelente desde la recepción al restaurante, amables, educados y muy atentos. Las instalaciones de un 5 estrellas, una piscina interior grande y una exterior un poco insuficiente para el mes de Agosto, pero tiene unas vistas espectaculares (como todo el hotel) y hay tumbonas suficientes en toda la zona de las 2 piscinas. Tiene acceso a la playa y hay tumbonas y sombrillas. La ubicación del hotel es fantástica y puedes visitar Dubrovnik Old Town con un autobús que está enfrente del hotel, barato y rápido, te deja en 10 minutos en la ciudad. La habitación esta bien de tamaño para tres personas y la terraza tiene unas vistas increíbles, lo único k encuentro la terraza un poco descuidada, le falta que sea más acogedora y con mobiliario más cómodo El desayuno y cena muy bien, muy variado y excelente el pescado y los postres, para el desayuno hay una gran variedad hasta preparan smoothies. El comedor es grande con una terraza con unas vistas espectaculares. Volvería a reservar sin ninguna duda.

Nos quedamos en el Royal Neptun por una semana, es 1 de 3 hoteles que forman un complejo - Neptun es una 4 estrellas y la otra 2, 5 estrellas y podemos ver la diferencia. Las alturas, la ubicación es excelente, el paseo a lo largo de la promenade a los bares y restaurantes, maravilloso. El techo de la barra superior y la piscina, lugar increíble para tener bebidas y ver el sol, las pizzas en “en el bar de rocas” yummy, comida y sedimentación en Zoe fue muy valioso el dinero, y el masaje en el spa fue uno de los mejores que he tenido. Por lo tanto, sólo 3 estrellas: nos ingresamos, otros huéspedes que se ingresaron fueron ofrecidos apoyo con su equipaje que no estabamos, quizás sólo para las 5 estrellas, no nos importaba, pero sólo notable. En nuestra habitación, la primera vista es limpia y temprana, pero luego comenzamos a ver las tintas rojas y blancas en el tapete, ducha rota y caja fuerte, puerta de baño de tipo fija. El desayuno no fue una experiencia agradable en absoluto, no es lo suficientemente grande para el tamaño del hotel, muchos y muchas personas que caminan por las mesas, no hay gestión que supervise el flujo de clientes, La moral del personal parecía baja, nadie se sonríe, pasaría y no te reconocería, cuando intentaba atraer la atención, fue como si te miraban a través de ti y se dirigen en una dirección diferente. La comida salió muy rápidamente, no estaba cubierta toda la carne, queso, etc. y podía ver las aviones aterrizan en ella, la cola para omeletas era al menos 10 minutos tan grande que se reunió por todas partes donde otros invitados trataban de comer. Zona de piscina, como este es un hotel familiar, realmente se sorprendió ver el vidrio usado, una vez se vio una ruptura de vidrio y un niño cortó su pie y segundo una ruptura de vidrio de vino y el estanque se acabo en la piscina - nadie se pidió que se fuera mientras estaba limpiado . Este hotel tiene un lugar increíble para quedarse, así que esperamos que este feedback ayudará a hacer las necesidades de su hotel.

We had a beautiful sea view room on 4th floor with nothing but the sea & islands to see when stepped out onto the balcony. Great location for watching the sunset from many locations either on the waterfront, roof top bar or our own balcony. Breakfast was the usual expected fare and whilst there we experienced very busy and very quiet times. Staff were always on hand to get anything you may need Location was perfect, a short 15 minute 2 euro bus ride to Old town - easy to navigate as both the hotel and Old town are 'end of the line' so can't get lost! Peaceful and pretty 15 walk to more bars and restaurants at Sunset Beach on way or hour walk around the land to the new port area. Housekeeping - cleaned and tidied the room each day, had to occasionally ask for more tea / coffee / milk although it wasn't a problem as we just got some in the morning at breakfast. Was a little early some days (for us) but we just put the do not disturb sign out and removed it when we went down for breakfast Was the perfect base for our week away and would love to return when we next go to Dubrovnik

El hotel está situado en una ubicación excelente, a un paseo de autobús de la Ciudad Vieja. Se publican actividades y se pueden reservar en el hotel. Fue genial para un corto estancia, vistas sorprendentes, muy limpio y relajado spa.

The Royal Palm is set a little outside the city alongside the coast in a complex of three other ‘royal’ hotels that provided a number of bars and restaurants to choose from throughout the day. This choice extends to the pools and gyms as well. Lovely well appointed and clean rooms. The en suite was well equipped and modern. Great sea views as well. The staff both in the restaurant and reception couldn’t have been more helpful. First time in Croatia. Lovely country, Dubrovnik city was really Beautiful. Most days busy from the cruise ships but its didn’t detract from the place.
