I stayed here for a business trip for one week. The room seemed to be clean but it is so dark that you can’t really tell if it is clean or not. That’s actually an issue - the lightening is bad. I couldn’t really work in the room since it had only a yellow ambient lightening and not a normal main source of light. The bathroom can be slightly cold if you don’t leave the door open so that warm air from the A/C can enter. It is shameful that they don’t have a breakfast included, especially for long stays in the hotel which is not so cheap and out of the center… at least one small sandwich would make things better, but nop 👎🏼. Another thing is that the area is not very nice. Unless you have to do something in that area, i don’t recommend you to stay. I was even told by taxi drivers to not walk around alone after it gets dark. Before I knew that, I did take a walk and it really felt a bit unsafe. The staff was ok, I didn’t have much contact with them. Only had an incident when I arrived - they couldn’t find me in their system (it was booked under other name by mistake but I actually changed it a week before arrival so I don’t know why they didn’t have updated information). There is a small gym, but almost all machines, except one, are for cardio exercises. Almost no restaurants or shops in the area.

It is not the hotel thats the problem but the hotel owner/ manager. Not only was he blunt but his customer service is appalling. His staff was coping very well but he had to interfere under mining them as well as us ,as guests I am a 62 year old married man and being told that now hes got our money he can order us out, i dont think is the correct attitude to have dealing with his guests and this was before we even got our room keys. If it wasnt for customers as myself his business wouldn't survive and after the covid epidemic , you would think he would take more appreciation than putting people off to stay at his hotel I have travelled the world and never done a review before but i couldn't let future guests be dealt with in such a disrespectful manner as this hotelier treated me

Después de un gran día en el rugby, llegamos al hotel alrededor de las 11:30 pm y nos registramos, el personal era amable y servicial. Un poco borrosos, todos esperaban con ansias la cama. En el camino a nuestra habitación después de salir del ascensor, me sorprendió ver lo que parecían escombros de una teja rota por todo el piso, casi como una escena de Pablo Escobar en narcos. A pesar de esto, continuamos a nuestra habitación, ansiosos por golpear las sábanas. Las camas eran sólidas con almohadas más duras que los ladrillos pero tan planas como el cartón. Había un total de 3 almohadas entre dos personas (con mucho gusto sacrifiqué la almohada extra a mi amada, una pérdida que me alegró aceptar). Después de quedarnos dormidos, nos despertaron gritando, golpeando las puertas y golpeando lo que parecía un oído de animales. Esto continuó durante bastante tiempo y nos sorprendió que el personal no hubiera tomado ninguna medida para calmarlos. Finalmente, dejaron de permitirnos quedarnos dormidos solo para que sucediera lo mismo alrededor de las 3 a.m., con la misma acción que antes, nada. . . Nos despertamos pensando en el largo viaje por delante con ganas de salir a la carretera. Al salir de nuestra habitación del hotel, perplejos al ver los restos de tejas del techo que todavía cubrían la alfombra en el pasillo, decidimos subir las escaleras solo para ser recibidos por un campo minado de hamburguesas, papas fritas y kebabs a medio comer. Olía horrible indicando que el personal había tomado la misma acción, nada. . . Me fui preguntándome si había visitado un Ibis en Gales o un barrio pobre en Somalia. ¿Me quedaría allí de nuevo? No, pero si no te afecta nada de lo anterior, este es el lugar para ti. Lo mejor del hotel era el rápido permiso de estacionamiento para los autos. Muy eficiente ?

Ambiente (Figura 1): En una calle remota de Cardiff, hay alrededor de una zona residencial (Figura 2), la gente que se encontró primero necesitaba buscar con mapas de Google. El ambiente es bueno durante el día. Abajo es un bar, la propietaria es amable.
