La habitación es cómoda y luminosa, mesa de comedor, sofá, lavandería, mesa completa. Hay dos grandes supermercados cercanos. Es muy conveniente para nosotros preparar nuestra propia comida. El aire libre es muy tranquilo, las personas locales que se encuentran en la ocasión son muy amables y entusiastas, y hay autobuses desde el hotel directamente a la estación central de tren de Bonn. Muy generoso. Los otros hoteles son autoservicios. Encontré a los médicos. El salón del hotel es muy bonito y cómodo.

What a pleasure! I love being pleasantly surprised. The hotel is clean and upscale right next to the Rhine. The reception desk is friendly and helpful. They were patient while I stumbled over my newly learned German. However they speak English as well. We had a double bed (with an extra bed for my daughter). It’s spacious enough for three. They have a wonderful hot shower with tons of water pressure. The maid service has been wonderful, the garage provides ample parking but be careful if you have a wide car or you will likely hit the sides as you enter or leave the garage. (Like most of the hotels in Germany- they are designed for small cars) The location is terrific, 10 min walk to the Zentrum. We feel so lucky to have made an excellent hotel decision. If we come back to Bonn, we are staying here!

1. The machine outside the door to swipe the hotel key was not functional --- and this was apparently known to the staff, but no sign was put outside. 2. The call button on the same machine was also not functioning. We tried MULTIPLE TIMES. Again, no sign put outside of this malfunction. 3. I called the number indicated, the line was ringing but then eventually rerouted to a gentelman. After verifying that I am indeed a checked in guest to the hotel, i was transferred to the front desk, where it was later on picked up by somebody else saying his colleague was on the phone and will attend to us shortly. We stood outside in the cold for 30 MINUTES and still NO ONE had appeared to be in the front desk, although it should be manned at all times espeically when the malfucntion of the machine is known!! 4. We found the BACK DOOR WAS OPEN !! and was able to make our way in the hotel. Looking in the room behind the front desk there was one person JUST SITTING THERE. He claims he never recieved a call and claims he did not hear us knocking and banging at the front. 5. We informed him that the machine was not functioning, which he confirmed he already was aware of. We informed him that the bell was not functioing and he had little to no concern on this matter. We informed him of the calls, and he denied ever receving or hearing any calls come through.

酒店位置很好，就在旅遊熱點中心。但是，入住有點費勁，根本沒有前台，沒有人。衹能通過電郵，由對方發一個連結，網上填寫訊息後，通過連結操控樓道和房間開門。碰到網絡不好，溝通有誤（我打了電話，結果對方在輸入電子郵件時輸錯了一個字母，導致我始終收不到連結），最好下載一個 whatsup. 房間本身不錯，廚房設備齊全，鍋碗瓢盆、刀叉啥的都有，還有微波爐、小冰箱。另外有一個公共洗衣房。樓梯很窄，沒有電梯，帶大件行李有點費勁，有長者同行不推薦。

We have been searching for a hotel in the area we like for a few years and were never quite happy with the places we stayed at. Our trials and tribulations though have finally come to an end. We love the Dreesen. It is a historic hotel still owned by the progeny of the original founder. The house lies directly on the Rhine river offering a stunning view of the fabled Seven Mountains (think Cinderella), the Dragon’s Rock (think Wagner’s Ring of the Nibelungen) and the quaint little town of Königswinter. In good weather a promenade along the Rhine is a must. It is maybe noteworthy that the hotel while in Bonn is not close to the center, but is situated in the leafy and well-healed pool suburb of Bad Godesberg. There is public transport but without a car or a bicycle you will need to walk a bit to reach that, if you don’t want to take a taxi. The hotel offers bicycles though and the beauty of the location makes up for the rest. The hotel is in a nice historic building, has a beer garden, a good restaurant and good rooms. Those with balconies and Rhine-view are a special treat. The best thing about the Dreesen though is the competent and friendly staff. We had a lot of little requests (circumstances!) and we never heard a no. We got an early check-in, help with last minute ironing and laundry, etc. the staff is also exceptional nice and fun to converse with. We felt very welcome and at home. Thank you so much for making our stay so pleasant. We will be back for sure.

Hotel excelente en una ubicación muy buena. Situado en el centro con conexión directa a la PENV, las actividades de necesidades diarias y la gastronomía. Personal amigable y acogedor, desde la reserva hasta la entrada, el mantenimiento de casas, el servicio de desayuno hasta la salida. Todo está bien. Bella, limpia y luminosa habitación con balcón. Wi-Fi gratuito. Parking gratuito frente a la puerta, garaje bajo a precio. Todo en general una gran experiencia, nos gusta volver a venir =)
