Dawyk Beech Guesthouse

Every once in a while the stars align and things just fall into place and this was one of those times. This fantastic guest house is in a league of its own when it comes to looking after guests. Right from the start we were very warmly welcomed by our host, Nigel, and made to feel like family. Our room was very spacious and clean with en-suite and all the other things you would expect to have such as tea making facilities, tv, wifi and more besides. We opted for the breakfast option and boy was it a great choice. The choices on offer were fantastic ranging from yoghurts and cereals to full English and lots in between. Would we go and stay again? Yes we would only next time we would stay longer.

Just arrived tonight, we were greeted by Nigel, very welcoming, polite and friendly, he showed us to our room and I must say it is sparkling clean, decent size room with a beautiful view of the grounds, which are very well maintained. He was very helpful and asked us if we were happy with the room. We went to the restaurant that Nigel recommended literally a stones throw away and again fantastic customer service and food is fantastic, came back to our room to kick back and had a shower, in the very good sized bathroom, which contains a shower, bath and toilet, it is very well presented indeed. They have tea, coffee and hot chocolate, they even had a juice and water for my little one too, ohh and dunky biscuits for our tea or coffee. Highly recommend this place to all.

My first time in a guest house (visiting the area for a wedding). The hosts were absolutely fantastic, offering great rooms and a fantastic morning breakfast. why must this ridiculous sit enforce a minimum character limit…
