Very comfy room, nice staff and close proximity with city centre

The room I stayed in was very noisy, with the noise coming from the fridge. I couldn’t even get to sleep. Also the water pressure in the shower was very low. However, the staff were extremely nice and helpful throughout my stay.

It’s a clean and well-located place to stay, but the lack of room space and poor view took away from the overall experience

Hotel was good. A bit surprised that I had to buy valet parking to park in the hotel rather than outside. Staff were very helpful though.

Fable seats in the centrer of Christchurch and is clean and comfortable. Everytime we travelled to Christchurch, we stayed at Fable. We like Fable very much. See you next time, Fable!

Great central location and a very comfortable room made for an easy stay. The staff were warm and welcoming — special shout‑out to the gentleman on check‑in who was still friendly and helpful even when I arrived after 1am. The only downside was the breakfast, which felt a bit uninspiring compared to the rest of the experience. Overall, a pleasant stay with standout service.

Everything here reflects the price, and overall it offers good value. The location is convenient, making it easy to get around. The room was spacious and clean, which made the stay comfortable. The front desk staff were also very helpful and friendly.

The location is absolutely brilliant. Lots of food and drink walking distance. Tram is just few steps away. Excellent. As for the hotel, it's clean and good size however, stayed for 4 nights and made complaint about the faulty lock at the toilet and till we checked out....it was never fixed even we have made numerous complaints. Overall, exceptional place to stay.
