"This being a newer hotel in the area, we thought it would be a nice, relaxing place to stay. It was a bit pricey so we were glad we only had to stay one night. The hotel is located beside the police department so it was annoying to get woken up during the night from the sirens. After going back to sleep we were again woken up at approximately 5:30am to a loud humming noise coming from the heat/air unit in our room. Which caused the heat not to blow any air at all, we turned the thermostat off but the unit continued with the humming noise. And it was extremely cold outside which caused our room to cool down almost immediately. Then the complimentary breakfast (which is paid for in the room rate) was horrible, not a wide selection of food to pick from and what was offered was not really ordinary breakfast food. The “scrambled” eggs were not completely cooked, they were so runny that water was standing in the bottom of the container they were sitting in! Then the batter for the fix-it-yourself waffles was so thick that it took, at least, 5 minutes to fill up the little 5oz cup so you weren’t able to fix a whole waffle especially if you wanted to eat before the rest of your food got cold. To say the least, we were not impressed with this hotel and unless it’s an emergency, like this stay was, we will not stay here again nor will we recommend Springfield Suites to family, friends, acquaintances or strangers. We would rather drive 45 minutes to an hour away to stay at a better hotel; one where the staff takes pride in their quality and service."

"Estaba un poco nerviosa después de leer algunas reseñas negativas, pero mi estancia en el Econo Lodge de Cheraw fue fantástica. Rena, de recepción, fue muy amable e incluso me llamó a la habitación poco después de registrarme para asegurarse de que todo estuviera bien. ¡Un servicio excelente! La habitación estaba limpia, tranquila y la cama era increíblemente cómoda. Me alegro mucho de haberle dado una oportunidad a este lugar. ¡Lo recomiendo ampliamente!"
