Genial. Buena ubicación, buen trato por parte del personal, habitación grande limpia y cómoda. El desayuno muy bueno, con mucha variedad. El restaurante está muy bien también, comida rica y buen servicio. Las vistas desde las terrazas del hotel son impresionantes.

I stumble across this cute little place during my short visit on a Sun Princess Cruise.Staff is super friendly and welcoming.The food is extremely fresh from the local catch and the most important is….THE BEERS IS COLD…Highly recommend this!!! 👌👌👌

This old Venetian palazzo seems to be under renovation, and the building has a few quirks (our bathroom was down a tight spiral staircase from our sleeping area, room lighting is retro-fitted leaving some shadowy areas). These are offset by the charming furniture including a four-poster bed, impressive architectural notes (high ceilings, good air flow, lots of exposed wood) and modern amenities (upgraded plumbing and air conditioning). The staff were friendly and professional and went above and beyond to assist us with standard and unusual requests. If you want to stay in the old Venetian quarter, check out the hotel Amphora- I think we will be back.

The hotel was clean and lovely and a great location.Me and my partner don’t use trip advisor but downloaded it to write this review in hope it would be seen by a manager. The number 1 asset to this hotel was a member of staff on reception. Me and my partner have both worked in hospitality and indulged in it. We have done it on a budget and with money to spare but never have we come across a member of staff so lovely, welcoming and helpful. She went out of her way numerous times to ensure 110% satisfaction during our stay. She is undoubtedly the biggest asset to the hotel and the soul reason we would recommend and visit again. We believe her name was Efi and hold her to the highest level of great hospitality and could only wish every other member of staff in the hospitality business would follow the example she has set. We hope she gets some recognition from management and is appreciated and applauded for all she has done over the past 7 days.

Highly recommend Amphora. The staff went above and beyond, helping us with taxi, extra beds, booking day trips, etc. Thank you Sophia, August, Effi, and Georgia..you were all amazing ! To the cooks in the kitchen, Bravo! breakfast incredible with so many healthy options like yoghurt, tahini, chia seeds, nuts...along with freshly baked low sugar pastries, fluffy eggs, delicious cheese...dinners also great-particularly enjoyed the salmon linguine. Rooms -beautiful, Staff- AMAZING!!!, food-delicious, location-pretty and convenient.

Perfect location, overlooking the action in the centre of town. Breakfast was on the waterfront, all the staff we met were pleasant, and being out of season the value was excellent. Come and visit, and try and get room 20. 200 words seems like a lot but i made it!

We picked Hotel Amphora in Chania town after reading a good few reviews and descriptions in the ‘Rough Guide’ book. There are many good looking boutique hotels in Chania but this hotel sounded authentically Greek and we thought we’d made a good choice. Whilst the customer service is good at reception etc, and rooms comfortable, our 3 night stay was a bit disappointing. Room was bland and lacked character and our harbour view obscured by air conditioning units. Breakfast was very poor, with not-so fresh salads and cooked items, tired looking pastries and stale breads. The coffee was really awful - served from a push button machine - never good! We asked for fresh filter coffee and got a jug of cold brew. Housekeeping was great though, and that was appreciated.

What a lovely hotel in the heart of the old Venetian port. Perfect place to stay in walk around. The staff was wonderful and I even snagged the sweetened orange peel recipe from the gentleman from their cafe! He also checked us into the hotel. Lovely person! Can't wait to try his recipe!

I loved my stay at the Amphora hotel! It was centrally located in the old port area and had amazing views from my room. I recommend getting a room facing the port. The staff was very kind. Chania's Old Port area has lots of options for dining and drinking and things to see and do. There are no cars in the area so taxis will leave you at a certain point then you would have to walk the rest. Not a major thing and having no car traffic adds to the charm of the area. My favorite thing however was just sitting out on one of the terraces of the hotel and just look out onto the port with a glass of wine. Such a beautiful experience.
