Dos Iberos Luxury Bed & Breakfast

I booked dos Ibero’s to hold a teaching retreat. Teaching animal healing visiting the local horse sanctuary just a short walk away. Marie-Claire was an incredible host for my students the food she provided was so delicious and beautifully presented. This is my second stay here and I loved it. The beds are super comfortable so you know you going to get a good nights sleep. The surroundings are so beautiful. I look forward to coming back again.

Our friends booked a holiday for the four of us here last year, unfortunately the boss suffered a calcaneal fracture while attempting to break her personal best in the long jump and we had to cancel. Our friends spent a wonderful week here while we stayed back home and I made insensitive jokes about my wife’s broken foot. The owner (Marie-Claire) very graciously offered to rebook ourselves in at a later date, she had no need to do this but indeed she did and her offer was gratefully accepted. Which was a great move on our part! Seventeen months later we arrived with four fully functioning feet at Dos Iberos and a great time was had by all! First off the place is outstanding, (they have a professional video on YouTube, check it out, as good as it is, it doesn’t do Dos Iberos justice) everything here is first class. The thought, planning and effort that has produced this beautiful retreat is phenomenal. The bedrooms are really spacious and tastefully decorated. Ours had a walk-in closet with enough storage for you to stay for a month and I wish we had! The bed is huge and as comfortable as any I’ve slept in, the view across the valley is amazing and in the evening the stars fill the sky to provide the most romantic setting, unless you’ve been together for forty two years, then it’s just night time! The shower room is slightly larger than an apartment I had in Bournemouth in 1979. It has a walk-in power shower that showers powerfully, so all good there. It’s stocked with all the bells and whistles, shaving mirror, hairdryer, fluffy towels and a shower gel and body wash that (according to the boss) are top notch. All good! The grounds are picture perfect, (check out the video) lots of places to sit and take in the amazing views. The infinity pool is just the best, get your iPods in, throw on Springsteen’s ‘Racing in the Street’ and gaze across the valley. Perfecto! In the late afternoon/early evening Marie-Claire provides a cocktail service, and she puts together (again according to the boss) a winner of a Gin and Tonic. I wrestled with a selection of Scotch and everyone was A1! The package that was booked included breakfast. (each day) lunch and dinner on a couple of days and to be fair, the food (like everything else) exceeded our expectations. Breakfast had everything you could think of, unless you fancied Moose, other than Moose, there was something to suit most tastes. Lunch was light, fresh, and healthy. Much to the amusement of the boss, I was introduced to quinoa and to be fair, I’m converted. The weather was blistering and we sat on the terrace in the shade and I quinoaed with the best of them. The dinners were thoroughly enjoyable, three freshly prepared courses, Paella, Pasta, a kind of Panna Cotta dessert (that you really wanted to lick the inside of the glass to finish but you didn’t want to appear uncouth to the rest of the guests) and a Limoncello dessert that wasn’t really Limoncello but whatever it was it was superb. We spent 7 nights at this beautiful b and b. Communication pre arrival from Marie-Claire was excellent. We were warmly welcomed and shown around the villa and taken to our wonderful room on the top terrace. Everything you need is supplied, including a good hairdryer, decent toiletries and a huge bed. Our room had a walk in closet, sun loungers and chairs on the balcony. We chose to take one of the packages and the evening meals, personally prepared by Marie-Claire as well as our afternoon cocktails were fabulous. We had such a great time and felt very comfortable and looked after. As they say, "If you think you know Spain, think again." Thank you and very much hope to see you in 2023.

had a fantastic time at dos iberos --- the pre check in was great and when we arrived we were greeted by marie claire with a refreshing drink --- the room we had was on the top floor with private balcony which was brilliant and the air con room was a pleasant retreat from the heat --- the room has everything you need and should you run out of drinks - there is a well stocked "honesty Bar" downstairs --- the Pool and grounds are very well kept and because only 5 rooms and adults only, there is total peace and tranquility as you swim in the infinity pool and look out at the fantastic view from the property --- breakfast is provided each morning and you have full access with a key so you can come and go as you please --- Marie Claire and Tannow made our stay a memorable one and we will be returning for sure

Voor de 2e keer geweest, Marie-Clair heeft ons weer heerlijk verwend met haar gastvrijheid. Een perfecte locatie om Malaga en omgeving te verkennen. En te genieten van de rust en het zwembad. En elke dag een goed begin met een heerlijk ontbijt. Deze keer ook een keer in de avond daar gegeten erg relaxt en lekker.

Super!! Een 1e kennismaking met Dos Iberos en wat een geweldige fijn verblijf. Dat Marie Claire een fantastische gastvrouw is, wisten we meer dan 30 jaar geleden al en wat leuk vele herinneringen weer op te kunnen halen. Perfecte locatie op 20 minuten van Malaga Airport en prima uitvalsbasis om Andalucia te verkennen. Kamers bieden alles voor een heerlijk verblijf; goed bed, ruime badkamer met luxe producten van Rituals en een prachtig uitzicht. Helaas waren we er maar voor 2 nachten maar we komen zeker terug! Een klein paradijs en een echte aanrader!

Geweldige ligging! Slechts 20 minuten van de luchthaven van Malaga. Mooi infinitie zwembad, adembenemend zicht, ruime kamers met heerlijke bedden, Ritual producten in de badkamers met inloop douches. Gastvrouw geweldig vriendelijk en behulpzaam!
