Seven Oaks Hotel

I would like to thank all the staff (reception, restaurant & bar alike) for making my wife's birthday celebration a great experience. Nothing was too much for these superheroes. Food was amazing & room was really nice. Will be back real soon & have told friends & family alike about the lovely friendly staff & around great hotel

Booked this not expecting much as it was last min and very cheap for bb and 4 course dinner. The hotel is a little dated but saying that very comfy. The beds were super comfy and room was lovely . Staff were friendly and efficient. The food was absolutely superb we were stuffed after dinner. Breakfast was gorgeous too and so fresh . Special thanks to Aisling on reception for leaving us Prosecco in our room as my daughter's leaving for Oz , such a nice touch . All in all we'd a lovely relaxing time , nice swim and jacuzzi. I'd certainly stay again

Very kindly allowed us a late check-in as at a function in Tullow, 10 kilometres away. Very friendly check-in and bar staff. Hotel has been modernised, but still has rooms on multiple levels, with a bit of walking. Room nice and comfortable, though the heat was turned up a bit high. All bathroom facilities. Modern keyless security. Largish bar, with friendly staff, and comfortable leather seats. It was quieter in the foyer, where there were several tables. Breakfast was served by the staff, not buffet as is often the case, though you did have to carry it back to your table. All in all a pleasant experience.

We were staying at the Seven Oaks Hotel in Carlow 12th to 15th May 2023. We are going home tomorrow. I booked this hotel for my husbands 70th Birthday. It is without a doubt the best place we have stayed in a long time.  The room was beautiful, good size and a beautiful bathroom with a walk-in shower. Perfect for us. The management and staff went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. The food was amazing and a very reasonable price. I would without a doubt recommend to family, friends or anyone looking for a top class hotel to check it out. We will be back.

The hotel and rooms are great , it's the corridors where the issue lies . There's very poor ventilation in those areas and a smell of damp from a leaky roof , probably just a one off unfortunate event , but nonetheless walking to and from the room wasn't a pleasant experience

Stayed here for two nights mid week. Bar nice and clean and good selection of drinks. Bar staff need more knowledge about drink measurements . Food was average. Ordered steak sandwich which arrived within 5 minutes. Food cold also. Menu bit pricey. Breakfast sorry to say is shocking. The hot breakfast buffet isn’t great. standard and quality lets it down. Food overcooked. Rooms nice bed comfortable Receptionist who checked us in very accommodating and friendly. A massive shout out to Patrick who we met in the leisure centre. An absolute gentleman. Very Friendly and couldn’t do enough. Nice hotel overall

We only stayed here one night as we were on the road the next day to Kilarney. The hotel was very clean, all the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a dinner here and breakfast the next morning. The food was plentiful and fresh. The rooms were all clean and comfortable.

I booked in online as I was in the area on business. I chose this hotel as it looked ok in photos but mostly as it had a leisure centre. I arrived at 5.45 and was informed the leisure centre would close at 6.30 which is a pity and should be stated when booking. The room was very dated and tired looking. I went down for something small to eat as I ate earlier. Restaurant was extremely quiet with staff standing talking. I ordered just a prawn starter. It arrived in 5 minutes which was not a great sign. Prawns were cold and rubbery in a greasy batter - absolutely disgusting and I let the waiter know I wasn’t impressed. I went to bed early but was woken at 3 am by drunken shouting and talking in the corridor and next room. Walls were paper thin. I could hear every word,grunt and bed creaking for the next 2 hours. Poor quality hotel all round.
