Tuve una estancia increíble en este hotel. La ubicación era perfecta: muy fácil de encontrar y muy bien situado, cerca de todo lo que necesitaba. El desayuno es bueno y todo el personal es amable.

Tuvimos que cambiar de habitación en familia porque era demasiado ruidoso, los ascensores no funcionaban y la habitación era pequeña y muy anticuada. No volveré a alojarme allí.

Un hotel estupendo. Excelente ubicación. Tuve una estancia estupenda y lo recomendaría a cualquiera que viaje a Cardiff. En pleno centro de la ciudad, con todo lo que necesitas y quieres ver a un paseo del hotel.

Para ser una habitación individual con cama doble, la relación calidad-precio fue excelente: cómoda, limpia y nada agobiante. Esta habitación tenía vistas al pintoresco castillo. El servicio fue amable y atento. Para ser un hotel de tres estrellas con decoración y arquitectura vintage, estaba bien iluminado y no era ni lúgubre ni oscuro. Una ubicación muy conveniente, a solo unos minutos a pie del castillo, los restaurantes y otros servicios. Sin duda, volveré a reservar aquí.

The stay at the Angel Hotel in Cardiff was very good and comfortable, and the facilities met all our needs. The location was excellent and easy to access. The staff were friendly and the service was very good. We also really liked the beautiful building, and Cardiff is a lovely city.

The Angel Hotel is situated in the centre of Cardiff...ideal for any plans you have. It was opened in 1883,many famous people have stayed there. It is opposite Cardiff Castle. I have stayed there many times and always a good experience. The foyer is particularly beautiful.

Lovely hotel. The staff was very kind and friendly and provided excellent services. I would definitely revisit next time. The Room size was perfect and the amenities are good too.

Myself and daughter stayed for 1 night for a concert. From the moment we arrived we felt very welcome. All the staff were so friendly, the room was clean with lovely view of the castle. Would definitely stay again.

The staff were amazing and couldn't have been more helpful. The room had everything we needed, except Air Conditioning. However, we were given a large fan which kept us cool enough.

Hotel is in the city centre, so its very noisy but if you book a room here then you should already know, its glorious inside, it's massive! Loved the continent location of the hotel across the road is the castle too, very close to the train station loved all the convince. Rooms need a refurb but the hotel staff do a wonderful job of cleaning. Bed is super comfy and the room is quite big, TV is basic freeview.

The hotel is located just by the castle . Amazing location so convenient for everything It’s an old , elegant hotel with a beautiful entrance to the rooms with a great staircase. The rooms need some renovation as it’s obvious they’ve seen better days but it’s totally normal for this type of building to have certain old features in the bathroom or other areas . All in perfect working order The bed and pillows are comfortable and crisp . All clean ( the mirrors and doors could do with a bit more in depth cleaning as I believe they are overlooked but the rest is all good ) The receptionists are all very friendly and helpful They keep suitcases for free in the hotel if you’re travelling some time after your check out The hotel has good facilities , offers full breakfast for £10 and has a bar for snacks and drinks . It also has meeting rooms and other facilities . Great value for money as I got this through a trip.com offer that worked out cheaper than direct booking All in all a great , comfortable stay One more thing the road around the castle seems to be having work done quite often. This is not the hotel’s fault but earplugs for a lye in but be advisable as work starts early

The location of this hotel is perfect. The room was comfortable and clean. It’s such a beautiful hotel but does need a revamp to give if a bit of love. The lift wasn’t working but they were happy to help me with my suitcases to the 3rd floor.

I got upgrade from the hotel, near from everywhere

The hotel is in need of a complete refurbishment. There is peeling window frames and wallpaper and the lifts don't work - not for the old and infirm. The room we were given was on the second floor and we were told it was overlooking the Castle which we couldn't see through dirty windows. Its a shame really as the hotel is very much part of Cardiff's history but you get the impression that the owners are just making-do presumably because the cost of bringing the hotel up to date will cost millions - sorry won't be back
