After five years, my husband and I eagerly returned to Moonstone Landing, reminiscing about our previous fantastic stay. However, our recent experience was anything but pleasant. While the room and location still met our expectations, the treatment we received from the staff left a sour taste in our mouths.
From the moment we arrived, the front office staff displayed a shocking lack of courtesy and professionalism. Instead of welcoming us warmly, they cut us off when we asked questions and seemed utterly inflexible when it came to any special requests or accommodations.
The tipping point was when I needed a simple favor—a late checkout for an important work meeting. Despite our previous loyalty and the high cost of our room, this reasonable request was flatly denied. The next morning, I attempted to inquire about renting a more affordable room for my meeting, but before I could even finish my sentence, the front desk staff rudely interrupted me, stating they couldn’t assist with anything.
This dismissive and disrespectful behavior is unacceptable, especially considering our previous positive experience and the high price of the rooms. I am deeply disappointed by the decline in customer service at Moonstone Landing. Needless to say, I will not be returning, and I will ensure that my family and friends are aware of the disappointing treatment we received.
