I really enjoyed my stay at the Fairmont Palliser. I have to say that everyone here was incredibly polite, professional, and welcoming. I’ve stayed at two other Fairmont Gold properties before, including Whistler and Victoria, and I honestly feel that the service here at the Palliser was the best. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made the whole stay feel very special. We also mentioned that we were staying at the hotel for our wedding photos, and the team was incredibly thoughtful. They surprised us with a bottle of champagne and a beautiful celebration cake. It was such a lovely gesture and made our stay even more memorable. The only downside for me was the Parking. The East parking area is quite far from the hotel, and I ended up driving in and out of the hotel twice in one day. By the end of my stay, the total parking cost came to around $60. And one of the days, the parking gate was also not working, which was a little inconvenient. If you plan to use your car frequently during your stay, I would definitely recommend considering valet parking instead. Other than the parking situation, I had a fantastic experience and would happily stay at the Palliser again.

From check in to check out, everything was amazing, very good service. All the staff including cleaners, front desk, at the restaurants everyone very friendly and helpful.

It was so nice staying in the hotel! Employees were very nice and kind. I did check in so early but they already had a room that is ready. For me, it was so helpful! Thank you so much!

Location is the best

Hotel location is super, hotel is grand and pretty, spacious room. Hotel is linked to a public car park. Indoor pool is beautiful and relaxing.

Nice old fashioned hotel. Make sure you add breakfast as prices in restaraunt is too much

The hotel has that classic luxury vibe but still feels warm and comfortable, not overly formal. Location was super convenient — easy to walk around downtown Calgary, restaurants, cafés, and shopping nearby. The room was spacious and cozy, the bed was super comfortable, and the breakfast service was excellent. Also loved the little details and the old historic atmosphere of the hotel.

Great historic building at an unbeatable location. Staff were on top of everything. Can lay off the random pamphlets everywhere though!

Good location, however in the faucet everytime you switch to hot or cold water something yellow spits out every couple seconds. There was a mini bar and we did not touch it yet still got charged for a peach water which I did not use and when I phoned once I got the bill they told me that because it was in my room I was charged regardless if it was touched by us or not. My partner and I did not drink anything from there and no one was in our room. Otherwise good location for going out in the downtown and very comfortable beds

room is really small. there were weddings on the first floor so it was pretty loud and overwhelming
