My husband and I stayed one night at the Burnaby location in order to attend a dinner function nearby. We checked into our room and the heater was already on and set at 68 and seemed to be working OK. Shortly after we arrived in the room, a maintenance person knocked on the door to see how the heater was working. That should have clued us in as to what would happen next. A bit later, the unit started to spit out cooler air. I might add that the unit never cycled off and on as it should. I turned the unit up to around 72 to see if that would make a difference but no it did not. We contacted the front desk and within 5 minutes, maintenance came to check. We were told that the heater had to remain at 68, no higher or it wouldn’t work. I have never heard of such a thing. High temperature in Vancouver was mid 40's dipping into the 30's at night. By this time, it was 5:30 and we had to head out the door for the dinner event at 6PM. I wish we would have demanded a different room, because when we returned it was definitely cooler in the room. We were both tired and needed to leave the hotel early in the morning so we decided to “gut it out”. I looked for additional blankets and there were none. I wound up sleeping a total of 2 hours in my coat. This was not a comfortable experience. I am generously giving this property 2 stars as the room itself was clean and the bedding was comfortable. The front desk clerk kindly gave us a 50% discount for our discomfort which was the best she could do, but when I contacted their HQ was offered a 50% discount off a future stay. Don't think I will take them up on that offer, but thanks anyway.

The hotel is also close to Ladner, Steveston, Richmond and Tsawwassen which have a multitude of offerings for dining, shopping, and tourist entertainment options. Situated close to the US border, the hotel represents a great stopping point for travelers, coming either by car or ferry. The Richmond Ice Centre and Silver City Entertainment Complex and Watermania is a short drive away, along with several golf courses.

You could tell immediately how the hotel has been fairly new! Our family stayed for 2 nights and it was quite comfy. Not sure if there was anything we disliked. Just a couple of points: Restaurant option: Match Eatery & Public house And The Buffet We had a high expectation of the Buffet. Ah… so shame… Not worth paying so much. Trust me. Avoid the place. Internet: Connection is very strong; however, keep in mind that it is UNSECURED public connection. There was someone trying to access my personal email. Very fortunately, I had my email account secured with two way authentication. Do consider… to protect yourself by setting up the 2 way authentication… etc. Lastly, Swimming pool wasn’t ready to be opened until April.

Ventajas: la decoración se llama hotel de 4 estrellas, la ubicación del transporte es conveniente, tranquilo, seguro, el servicio de recepción está en posición, en este precio se puede llamar un alto precio.
Deficiencias: no hay nevera, no hay piscina interior, hay varios cabellos en la cama. Además, el aire acondicionado del hotel a 32 grados también tiene frío. Esto es lo que pasó dos veces. Finalmente, el estacionamiento cooperado por el hotel. Me encanta decirle al recepcionista que el número de la tarjeta también ha confirmado el número de la tarjeta, El sistema de hotel ingresó mi número de la placa de coche. El estacionamiento todavía me apuntó el día siguiente a la advertencia de que era un estacionamiento del hotel, así que no hay multas ni arrastres.
