Hoteles cerca de Old Town en Bucarest

Lovely hotel, staff were great and welcoming, very nice interior. Rooms are quite small but standard, totally free and stable Wi-Fi throughout the building, and breakfast was good. The only downside was the area. It was a big shock. It’s in a really rough area with tramps, drug addicts and other undesirables. A short walk towards the train station and we see two men who regularly hang around sniffing glue from bags. Not a reflection on the hotel as I say, it’s a really good hotel and made our stay better due to the cleanliness and security it offered

When i got there, I was told I was too early (fair enough, check-in is from 2 pm and i got there around 11.30) I had sort of anticipated this, so thought i would just kill some time at the skybar which supposedly has a great view - but much to my surprise, I was told the skybar was closed, only open for breakfast. Must be the biggest attraction of the hotel, and in their wisdom, they close it! So instead, I took a walk heading towards the parliament building which is preety close by. When i returned a while later, room was now ready but oh by the way, the lift doesnt work! So i now had to carry luggage up the fire exit staircase (room was on 4th floor). Very narrow and poorly lit, so if you have trouble walking - good luck. Just hope you dont meet somebody coming down - passing them will be a challenge :-) Reception said lift would be fixed in a day or two!! So i made it to the room and cannot really decide what to think of it. On the one hand, it was spotlessly clean and looked very new and modern but on the other hand: No coffee / tea, There was a minibar with some wine and soft drinks but no beer,No glasses to be found anywhere (so I guess, just drink the wine from the bottle),WiFi works but not very stable - keeps dropping out. At breakfast, the skybar was now open - 2 people in front of me for the coffee machine which was quite slow - turned out they were not guests - but the breakfast room staff!. When they finally had their coffee they went straigth out onto the open terrasse for a cigarette (very small outdoor terrase and the staff now occupied 1/3 of it) and started chatting quite loudly - so terrasse is just as much for the staff - not the guests only. And really - if staff of any kind of establishment wants to have a loud discussion, do so away from the guests!! Breakfast was very poor - quite frankly pathetic! - some dry toast bread, a little bit of cheese and some slices of what looked like ham/salami - nothing warm like e.g. eggs (of course the staff were busy out on the terrasse smoking and having a loud conversation). Definately not worth any money at all - instead head out for one of the many cafes very close by. The lobby has what looks like a bar, but all they sell is coffee. Big surprise to me when late afternoon after a long walk i came back, asked for a cold beer and was told they didnt have any!! You can have some wine from the minibar, but you cant have a beer anywhere. The day of departure i waited a little in the lobby for my taxi to the airport. Need to use a bathroom?? Too bad - just like the lift, out of order. This would be fixed ”in a day or 2” so clearly not a priority for this place. Wifi, although it did work in the room - no luck in the lobby - could not connect at all. The guy in the lobby was nice enough but most of the time you will find him outside, having a smoke. All in all, extremely dissapointed with this place. Wish i had gone back to Hello Hotel instead - breakfast much much better, you can

El hotel es precioso y tiene todas las amenidades esperadas de un 4 estrellas de la cadena Accor Hoteles. Está ubicado sobre la avenida principal en una zona donde están varias cadenas hoteleras. La ubicación es buena y segura, aunque son unos 10 - 15 minutos caminando al casco antiguo. Las habitaciones son perfectas y funcionales. Todo está muy limpio y nuevo. Cuenta con varios elevadores /ascensores lo que le da un plus. El personal es muy efectivo y nos ayudaron en varios aspectos, inclusive para la reserva de una excursión.

Moderno hotel enclavado en el casco antiguo de la ciudad. Muy buena atención del personal y excelente desayuno. Para desplaz****, pueden us**** los taxis (que los hay muchos esperando en la puerta del hotel) o el metro n° 2 que tiene a 200 mts la estación Universitate.

Equipo con excelente ubicación super central. Habitación muy bonita en el cuarto piso, limpia y silenciosa. Muy apreciado el servicio de piscina, sauna y gimnasio. Self-in cómodo y funcional, Concierge disponible. Consejo a la estructura para escribir más información detallada sobre la reserva, por ejemplo, a qué correo debe enviarse los documentos personales para tener los códigos de acceso a la estructura, porque en los detalles de la reserva no está especificado y tuvimos que contactar con el call center de Italia, que por suerte ha sido rápido y disponible para ayudarnos.

La habitación del hotel tenía todo lo necesario, y el tamaño era normal. La cama muy cómoda. También sirven un desayuno en la mañana, donde podrás encontrar varios productos en formato de buffet. Y el personal del hotel estuvo muy bien. El hotel no está cerca del centro, pero la parada de autobús está a 2 minutos andando del hotel. También, si vienes desde el aeropuerto, tiene buena localización. Volvería a repetir. Muy recomendable.

El hotel no tiene un servicio acorde a un cuatro estrellas, no nos hicieron el aseo los tres días que estuvimos (cama sin hacer, almohadas en el suelo, vasos sucios), había mucho ruido en la calle (llena de bares) y las habitaciones dan a una galería interior del hotel sin ventilación que también tiene ruido porque tiene un lobby con bar. El día que me iba pedí una caja de desayuno porque tenía que salir a las 6:55 (el desayuno abre a las 7:00) y a pesar de que la pedí el día anterior y la recordé dos veces no le la tuvieron hecha. Las habitaciones son pequeñas y tienen pocos cajones y lugares para colgar la ropa. El desayuno buffet es muy bueno (aunque solo lo probé dos días).

We mistake for old town & uptown , location was 35mins ++ walking distance to city & old-town & all day-tour pick up point . Quiet place for sleeping. We ordered airport pick up , the Driver nice & good , his drop us and open the lobby door for us , take the room keys in letter box for us and explain where ours lot . feel good ( around 22:00pm local times)… .. after in ours apartment, look new and tidy inside , but we can’t find any brief-notes for WiFi passwords, even found the modem , password was chance !! so thinking paid for roaming , ( Vodafone get in data ) , work only few second than died line all night till morning even walk around at city . ( choose Orange will more better). Service or Staff ? We stay four nights, none seen one . The window & balcony full of dust . By the end, if you’re self drive tourist is ok to stay here .
