El Gran Hotel Continental fue mi única elección a la hora de planear nuestra estancia en Bucarest. Perfectamente situado, se tiene acceso a todos los puntos de interés andando. El hotel en si es encantador, con una decoración muy agradable, su personal muy eficiente y súper amable. Todo lo que probamos del room service, buenísimo. El único inconveniente que le pondría a la habitación (siempre muy limpia) es la falta de persianas o de un simple foscurit en las cortinas, los que somos del sur no acostumbramos a dormir con tanta luz. Por lo demás, volvería a elegir este hotel si volviese a Bucarest.

vestíbulo enorme, experiencia de registro increíble, lo mejor es que el personal es servicial y tiene empatía con los huéspedes. Habitación: habitación increíble, alfombra limpia, en el momento en que ingresas a la habitación esa decoración, limpieza cambia tu estado de ánimo. el colchón es cómodo.

El hotel es un hotel muy agradable y muy agradable para quedarse. No me ahorré en la piscina y cambié los hoteles porque quería un baño / piscina de baño de calor para mi vacaciones. Si no estabas en las piscinas, éste es el lugar perfecto para quedarme. Tengo esta habitación por $100 por noche y eso es realmente un robo.

Daniel fue muy útil y muy caliente también con gran sentido del humor, tuvimos 2 días para ver las mejores atracciones cerca y se aseguró de que lo hicimos explicando el mapa y planificandolo. El hotel es hermoso y tiene un sabor delicioso y las habitaciones son limpias bien mantenidas. Está totalmente recomendado quedarse en este hotel. La ubicación es inmejorable para visitar el centro de Bucarest, también esta muy bien comunicado con el transporte público. La habitación algo pequeña pero todo muy nuevo. No cuenta con minibar, ni armario, ni caja fuerte que en ocasiones se echa de menos. El desayuno es bastante completo y el café a pesar de ser de máquina se puede tomar perfectamente. El único ”pero” que le sacamos es que en 3 días que estuvimos no pasaron a hacernos la habitación, tuvimos que pedir unas toallas limpias ya que sin el cambio las teníamos mojadas, no sabemos si es costumbre o se les olvidó pasar. A pesar de ese detalle, calidad-precio, sobresaliente.

My teenage daughter and I stayed here recently for a quick getaway and were not disappointed in the least. From the moment the online reservation was made, the staff communuicated via email asking about airport trasnfers and tours as well as any other requests that we may have. Andrea, Alex and Christian all went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. From offering suggestions for things to do, restaurants to eat at or just basic conversation about the area, all of them were extremely helpful and never seemed too busy to chat. We also enjoyed seeing the resident cat, Tom, hanging about in the lobby. We had the Nautica room and found it to be both comfortable and spacious. The bed provided a good night's sleep and the room darkening shades almost worked too well. Other reviews have commented on noise from outside being too loud but we did not really have any issues. We did hear some noise from the restaurant downstairs but most of it was over by 10pm and we never did hear any nightclub noises, however we were not there over a weekend. My only criticism of the room (and this is a personal issue) was that the theme of the room allowed for a window to be placed between the bedroom area and the bathroom such that someone using the toilet could be seen by anyone in the room from certain areas. It may be fine for a couple but as we were a mother-daughter, it was a bit awkward although we did find a solution and managed. Other rooms may not have this configuration. Breakfast was simple but good. Most days had the pretty much the same offerings but there were a few items changed each day so there was some variety. They arranged a private tour for us to visit Bran Castle, Peles Castle, and Brasov with a quick stop at Cantacuzino Castle where the Netflix series Wednesday was filmed. The locations themselves were nice to visit, but what made the tour the most fun for us was our tour guide, Serban. He was extremely energetic and well versed in the history of Romania. We could have booked a group tour, but Serban made the private so fun that it was well worth the extra expense. The location of the hotel is perfect for walking to most of the touristy things to do and some excellent restaurants. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Bucharest.

Magnífica ubicación en el corazón del casco antiguo de Bucarest. La habitación es grande con espacio para equipaje. El desayuno es bueno, el personal es excelente en su servicio, no solo es amable, sino que también nos ayuda a comunicarnos con el conductor local de Uber para la transferencia debido a la entrada limitada. La puerta trasera conduce a la entrada hacia el casco antiguo, mientras que las puertas principales deben ir hacia el metro y el transporte por la carretera principal. Muy recomendable si desea alojarse en el casco antiguo y tiene muchas opciones para varios restaurantes, pubs y tiendas para su accesibilidad.

Hotel en el centro de la ciudad. Personal amigable. Buen tamaño de habitación con cama y cocinas cómodas. TV con Netflix etc. buen tamaño de baño sin embargo el agua en la ducha estaba apretada en el mejor y muy a menudo frío. El desayuno era pobre! ¡El hotel está en una calle ridículamente ocupada y ruidosa! No es culpa del hotel que intenta compensar esto por tener camas muy cómodas y proporcionar acoplamientos de orejas. En este hotel, el hotel está en una calle con bares y restaurantes llenos de todo tipo de cosas que siempre están tratando de hacer que vengan a sus bares. Esto es de 11am, así que incluso cuando usted está solo viendo durante el día... los totos va mither usted para tratar de conseguir que usted entre cuando usted está solo tratando de regresar a su hotel. Aún no los hoteles culpa. El hotel también está entre 3 ‘bars sólo hombres’. El hotel y el personal son muy bonitos, pero no nos quedaríamos aquí por el motivo que se ha expuesto.

El hotel está en una muy buena ubicación en el casco antiguo. A poca distancia a pie hasta unos 30 minutos en todas las direcciones se encuentran todos los hermosos edificios históricos que necesita ver. Sí, va a ser ruidoso porque está en la calle con pubs y discotecas, pero no me importó tanto el ruido. El personal fue muy amable y servicial. Incluso me ayudó a reservar un automóvil a una tarifa con descuento en comparación con lo que pagaría por llamar a un taxi. El hotel está justo al lado del restaurante Old City y la comida es buena. Tenga en cuenta que se encuentra en una calle peatonal, por lo que los automóviles no pueden dejarlo en la puerta del hotel. Entonces, si tiene equipaje, recuerde que está a unos cinco minutos a pie de Main Street, donde lo dejarán.

When i got there, I was told I was too early (fair enough, check-in is from 2 pm and i got there around 11.30) I had sort of anticipated this, so thought i would just kill some time at the skybar which supposedly has a great view - but much to my surprise, I was told the skybar was closed, only open for breakfast. Must be the biggest attraction of the hotel, and in their wisdom, they close it! So instead, I took a walk heading towards the parliament building which is preety close by. When i returned a while later, room was now ready but oh by the way, the lift doesnt work! So i now had to carry luggage up the fire exit staircase (room was on 4th floor). Very narrow and poorly lit, so if you have trouble walking - good luck. Just hope you dont meet somebody coming down - passing them will be a challenge :-) Reception said lift would be fixed in a day or two!! So i made it to the room and cannot really decide what to think of it. On the one hand, it was spotlessly clean and looked very new and modern but on the other hand: No coffee / tea, There was a minibar with some wine and soft drinks but no beer,No glasses to be found anywhere (so I guess, just drink the wine from the bottle),WiFi works but not very stable - keeps dropping out. At breakfast, the skybar was now open - 2 people in front of me for the coffee machine which was quite slow - turned out they were not guests - but the breakfast room staff!. When they finally had their coffee they went straigth out onto the open terrasse for a cigarette (very small outdoor terrase and the staff now occupied 1/3 of it) and started chatting quite loudly - so terrasse is just as much for the staff - not the guests only. And really - if staff of any kind of establishment wants to have a loud discussion, do so away from the guests!! Breakfast was very poor - quite frankly pathetic! - some dry toast bread, a little bit of cheese and some slices of what looked like ham/salami - nothing warm like e.g. eggs (of course the staff were busy out on the terrasse smoking and having a loud conversation). Definately not worth any money at all - instead head out for one of the many cafes very close by. The lobby has what looks like a bar, but all they sell is coffee. Big surprise to me when late afternoon after a long walk i came back, asked for a cold beer and was told they didnt have any!! You can have some wine from the minibar, but you cant have a beer anywhere. The day of departure i waited a little in the lobby for my taxi to the airport. Need to use a bathroom?? Too bad - just like the lift, out of order. This would be fixed ”in a day or 2” so clearly not a priority for this place. Wifi, although it did work in the room - no luck in the lobby - could not connect at all. The guy in the lobby was nice enough but most of the time you will find him outside, having a smoke. All in all, extremely dissapointed with this place. Wish i had gone back to Hello Hotel instead - breakfast much much better, you can

Excelente ubicación, situado en el centro histórico de Bucarest, rica en locales y movido. El único pecado es que se oye la música de los locales hasta la mañana. Sala limpia, espaciosa, bien decorada. Baño dotado de jabón de manos, espuma de baño y teléfono. Sólo cambian las telas para el baño, la cama no lo hacen de nuevo. Ni el papel higiénico se resorcia. Refrigerador en habitación con dos botellas de agua en honor. Apreciamos la máquina con las cápsulas x el café en la habitación.

Bellissimo alloggio. Non si tratta di un vero e proprio hotel. Non ha una reception ma sono reperibili al telefono anche se via mail non mi hanno mai risposto 😅 però il ragazzo che mi ha risposto è stato veloce e gentile nel momento del self check in. La stanza coloratissima e curata nei dettagli proprio come nelle foto. Free mini bar che è una chicca. Hai a disposizione anche un bollitore e la macchinetta del caffè, insomma coccolatissimi. Il bagno enorme per non parlare della doccia. Hai tutto il set cortesia a disposizione. La nostra stanza affacciava sulla strada. Non penso abbia le finestre del tutto insonorizzate però per fortuna di notte non c’è via vai sulla strada principale nonostante si trovi sopra alla galleria Vilacrosse con pub.
