"This is a basic hotel in the center of town. My room was quite small with a basic en-suite shower. The room was quite warm. Breakfast was very basic. When i arrived at 17:30 there was no parking so i had to park in the shopping mall, luckily it was only 7 Euro"

"We really enjoyed our stay here. The reception from the staff was very friendly and the lady who created is spoke English very well. The room was very clean. The kitchen was well equipped and very clean. We had a small garden where we could sit. The room had airconditioning and that was very nice because it was 32 C the weekend we were here. There is a good restaurants and shops in walking distance (10min). I only missed a rack do dry towles on. The beds are firm."

"Pasamos un día en Colonia y el siguiente en Phantasialand, así que la ubicación es perfecta si vas en coche. El hotel está bien en general, pero algunas cosas podrían arreglarse, como el techo del pasillo. Las instalaciones como el spa son muy limitadas y poco acogedoras... el hammam no funcionaba, y el gimnasio, muy deficiente, con tres máquinas viejas. ¡El desayuno es muy bueno! ¡Muy buen servicio y el mejor beicon que hemos probado!"

"Nice small hotel with friendly staff. Parking isn’t free but 6 euros a night. I queried it for my motorbike and was shown a corner area where I wouldn’t have to pay which was appreciated. Room was a good size for a single and warm but had an air con unit which made a huge difference. Breakfast disappointing. Arrived an hour before it closed but no hot food or pastries left and not replenished. Close to the centre for evening meals etc."

"The location of the hotel is a bit outside of the city of Bruehl. Actually it is a kind of private house beside a former train station. Unfortunately there is nothing in walkway distance to the hotel, only the restaurant, which is also quite good. The hotel is almost in a forrest, so the area is very quiet. Even the trains you cannot hear in the rooms. The staff of the hotel is very nice and friendly. The rooms are big enough even for a long term stay. The room we had, was in the first floor and offers a door to the outside balcony or terrace. So very convenient, when you have bigger and heavy luggage. The breakfast was acceptable. No buffet, but therefore personally prepared by the hotel staff. At least the breakfast is nice and enough for the morning. They offer almost everything you can expect from such a family-run hotel. Parking is directly in front of the hotel and free of charge. Price-performance-ratio is good, even we find the price a little bit high for such a hotel. Anyhow they offer a very personal and friendly service. All in all we can say, that the hotel is a nice, quiet and clean place. Good for a short and long term stay. From this location you can travel to Cologne within 30 minutes by car. The hotel is in a quiet location which gives you a good sleep in the night. Good for walking in the forest, if you have time and like it. Feeling a little bit like home."
