Motel 6 Brooks, AB ★★

"I only stayed one night at this motel while passing through, and I would definitely stay here again. It was clean, had a TV, fridge, microwave, and a comfortable bed. A kettle, coffee, and tea in the room would have been nice, but there's hot water and coffee available in the reception area. Plus, there's a restaurant right next door (Ricky's All Day Grill), which I found very convenient as you don't have to search or drive far. You can park for free directly in front of the rooms. For extra security, you can double-lock the room, although I didn't feel unsafe. It has an air conditioner that also functions as a heater."

Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Brooks ★★

"The hotel is clean, the facility is good. However the receptionist is terrible when I checked out, she just didn't want to pay one more second to help to return the card and print the receipt, hard to believe such attitude in a hotel."

"Poor customer service. No one answered phone when tried to phone and book. Front desk person uncooperative and argumentative. Hallway carpet old and rippled and many tripping hazards. I will never stay here."
