Our stay in the suites was exceptional, the extra little touches really made it special and memorable. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, willing to go out their way to help make our stay even more exceptional! We would love to come again!

Great Stay! Super close to city centre, so it was possible to walk everywhere. The Suite are beautiful. They are recently refurbished and you could tell! Great reception with Sebastian! He was great and provided us with all the help we needed! We definitely recommend!

Had an amazing weekend in Bristol with my partner! The staff was very welcoming, Sebastian at reception was really friendly and helpful! The rooms were cozy and clean. Would definitely recommend for a weekend getaway!

Booked a suite rather than just a room because I wanted it to be a bit special. For all I know the others are fine, but I got Suite 1 in the basement and it was really pretty grim. Mould up the wall in the bathroom and all around the top of the bath, clear damp damage to the ceiling in the bedroom that had just been painted over & looked ready to fall in, the rug in the bedroom was filthy and full of hair, as was the throw on the bed, the drinking glasses had been used and not replaced, and I think there must be a restaurant kitchen venting into the courtyard because there was a distinct smell of deep-fat fryer in the hall and bedroom. The bottle of fizz for booking direct was a nice touch but come on, put it in the fridge. There were no robes in the room & none available when I asked. Oh, and don’t worry if you’re too late for one of their parking spaces, RingGo on the square is cheaper anyway! On the upside all the staff I spoke to were lovely, but overall it was difficult not to feel pretty ripped off.

We searched for ages trying to find the perfect accommodation in Bristol within a good location and a reasonable budget. Safe to say, it paid off! We stayed in suite three this week and it surpassed all our expectations. The blend of being both an apartment and a hotel suite was a great mix and allowed for both a sense of independence whilst ensuring all our needs were well taken care of. The staff were incredibly accommodating and the room itself was both luxurious and quirky. This instilled an essence of individuality often missing from other 5 star accommodations. We made good use of the kitchenette, projector, bath and shared garden and our only complaint was that we couldn’t stay longer! Hope to be back soon, as it was our first time in Bristol and left us with a fond lasting impression. Make sure to book direct to save and get perks!

On the positive side: the location is excellent and very close to Bristol University where I was attending a conference. The staff that we dealt with all seemed friendly and competent. There were some nice touches such as the sherry and the prosecco on the first night and fresh fruit. Apart from this, I don’t know if we were unfortunate in the Suite that we stayed in (Suite One in the basement) but it had a number of problems and overall I found the standard of the accommodation to be disappointing for the following reasons: 1. There was a pervasive damp smell to the apartment with a whiff of decay. I am not sure if this was due to proximity to the restaurant or structural. 2. The wiring seemed like it needed to be replaced with lights in both the bedroom and living area constantly flickering. 3. The projector in the living area was old and slow and once we got it to work, turned out to be too loud, for it to be possible to watch tv on 4. The wifi was quite unreliable and mainly only worked in the main living area. 5. The “kitchenette in a cupboard”, is probably fine for people who are just staying for a couple of days, but it’s not very well equipped if you are staying for a longer period (as we were) and hoping to be able to prepare anything more than toast or to reheat something on the single plate. The fridge is very small too. 6. The main living area was generally uncomfortable. The couch looked interesting, but it was not very comfortable for two people to sit on for extended periods. There was a very small rug and it generally felt quite bleak sitting in there with little natural light during the day and under flickering light at night. 7. There were 2 dining chairs and one of these was broken. 8. The bedroom is nicer with some light coming through from a small courtyard. However, I saw water leak through the ceiling in the bedroom onto the couch. This should be attended to. I understand that this is an older property and it’s possible that the other Suites are better but all I can report on is my own experience which, apart from the location, had little to recommend it.

Great location. The rooms were beautiful. The small decanter of sherry was a nice addition. It was really useful having the small kitchenette and mini bar available during our stay. Having access to the nearby members club was a nice perk.

We were extremely surprised at the standard of the apartment. It was far better than expected, central to the town and with all amenities to make our stay very comfortable. We also had a lovely view across at the cathedral
