Wasn’t planning on staying here, but was bumped to this accomodation at the last minute by Clix. So a bit disappointed as we were staying at one of their other buildings which was closer to restaurants etc and had a better pool. The apartment was clean and looked out over the hills and river, the bed was comfortable. Could have done with more kitchen utensils like a baking tray for starters. Stove had a wok burner but no wok or fry pan. Tiny wash basin with no side bench so had to put stuff on floor. Shower door handle had coroded and needs replacing. Disappointed in the pool, even though technically out doors it was all under cover thus no sun light so a bit chilly as it acted as a wind tunnel. Also was on 22nd floor and could still hear trains that ran past building.

Me encantaba el Hyatt Brisbane. terminé pasando cuatro noches más allá y no podía conseguirlo. Estaba centralmente situado. Pude llegar a la ciudad muy fácilmente. Ubicación conveniente en la ciudad de Brisbane. La recepción brindó un gran servicio, fue educado y acogedor. Tuvimos una cálida bienvenida y un proceso de registro rápido, fácil y sin complicaciones. ¡Gracias Vania! (Espero haber entendido bien su nombre) Vista increíble desde el Sky Lounge ubicado en el piso 36. Sin embargo, el apartamento estaba un poco sucio. Colocamos el letrero para arreglar nuestra habitación, pero no lo hicieron en absoluto, incluso cuando el personal de limpieza estaba limpiando la habitación contigua a la nuestra cuando nos fuimos. Salimos del hotel para salir por la mañana y cuando regresamos por la noche, el cartel de ”hacer la habitación” todavía estaba en nuestra puerta y la habitación estaba exactamente como la dejamos cuando salimos. La habitación no estaba hecha, los artículos de tocador no se reponían.

Buen hotel nuevo, recomendarlo a mis amigos. La gente es agradable para ayudar. Muchos huéspedes, pero todavía bien gestionado. Pocas salvaguardias en la puerta delantera, que no es habitual en los hoteles de los Estados Unidos, pero bueno.

The Soho Hotel in Brisbane is definitely great value for what you pay. The rooms might be a bit small, but they've got everything you need: a fridge, desk, comfy bed, and a decent bathroom. It's also nice and quiet. Having the free city bus right outside is a huge plus. No lift, which was a bit of a hassle for me with my back issue, but that's on me to check next time. The hosts are top-notch – super friendly and welcoming, probably the best we've met during our three months of travel. Considering the price, you're getting a lot for your money here.

We stayed here the night before leaving on a cruise that was leaving from the International Cruise Terminal. The main reason we chose this hotel was its close proximity to Roma Street Station as we caught the train from the airport. While it is close to the train station it is located at the top of a reasonable hill and it took a bit of effort to navigate the way to the top, apart from the effort. Several escalators/lifts and then a steep path with no real directions on which way to go. I thought I would be able to see the hotel to give me an idea which way but had to resort to Google Maps to find the way. Unfortunately we were on an early flight into Brisbane so as it was 09:30AM I was not expecting our room to be ready but just needed to store our bags so we good do some exploring. As expected, our room was not ready but the guy behind the counter checked me in, stored our bags and advised that the hotel was busy and our room would not be ready until about 02:00PM. No worries we will be back. We arrived back at 01:00PM and our room was still not ready and waited in the foyer till 02:00PM as previously discussed. Reception gave me our keys and we proceeded to our room on Level 1, or so I thought……..room card would not let me use the lift. Back to reception to have the card re-coded. On entry to our room, it was reasonably spacious and looked clean and reasonably comfortable. Décor a bit dated, but functional. We had a rather large balcony but we could not use it as there was no furniture so the balcony was wasted. Bathroom was small but functional, bit dated but appeared clean. It was only after we used the toilet several times that we noticed water on the floor. We ignored it for quite a while as we thought we had spilt water on the floor but it was not till the next morning that I realised it was coming from under the toilet. I reported it to reception on checkout. As we were tired from our early start we chose to order room service. While we knew how much it was going to cost it was very expensive. Two hamburgers and chips over $70. A bit steep, but as we were so tired we paid so we did not have to go out. The hamburgers were good by the way, but still way too expensive. Overall, this hotel was OK, but the room was supposed to be a superior room. OK. I would hate to be in a Standard Room………..as the room was pretty average for a Superior. After reading some of the other reviews the price we paid was fair and the location is good, just not when you have to push two big suitcases that we were taking on a cruise up the hill from the station. PS. It cost us $73 in the taxi to get to the Cruise Terminal.

Recientemente pasé dos noches en la cama doble del presidente Brooke. Me alegro mucho de la vivienda. La cocina tiene una cocina completa, una mesa de comedor y un balcón que puede explorar el paisaje de la ciudad desde el balcón. Todo está limpio, bien guardado, el personal de la recepción es muy amable y muy útil. El estacionamiento es un poco tenso, pero no hay gran problema. Debo volver a vivir.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Herston Place Motel . We found the manager Chris to be completely professional ,friendly and accomodating. Nothing was too much hassle. He was very courteous and had a great and wicked sense of humour. He was well dressed and very likeable. A great character indeed. He treated us like long lost friends. The room was very clean and had everything that you could possibly need. We will most definitely stay there again on our next trip. Big thumbs up. Lyn and John.

I had the BEST stay here! Over the last few weeks I’ve stayed in a few hotels in the Gold Coast & Sunshine Coast before getting to Brisbane. My 2 night stay at The Brook was the best so far! The room was so nice & clean, the staff were warm, friendly & helpful. The food at the restaurant was delish & the little extra’s were such a nice touch & so appreciated. There was a complimentary drink offered for the restaurant, a 10% discount on food, nice bottle of red wine in the room, and in the bathroom there was double the toiletries (which was so good because you know 1 of those tiny bottles of shower gel is never enough). They even gave me a late check out at no extra charge. Gemma & Emma in the restaurant/bar were so helpful, kind & down to earth. And the tree! The tree covered in fairy lights was the highlight. Overall, I can not fault it!! It was amazing & I would definitely stay again!
