"Plus: Room size Breakfast Parking Negative: Lights in the main area unfriendly harsh The town itself We stayed here on a Sunday on our way to Italy. The room (210) was nicely sized. The room and bathroom were basic but clean. I did miss an electrical outlet at the bedside. There is only a usb outlet hidden in the night light. The light in the main/dining area downstairs in the evening is incredibly harsh and unfriendly. Needless to say it doesn’t feel warm and cozy. We ordered our drinks and took them up to the room. The village of Bregenz is dead on Sundays. No one out and not a single restaurant was entertaining guests or even open. We ended up having a (great!) Döner wrap at a little Turkish cafe around the corner. The town itself also has a massive collection of buildings that reminded us of the grey and grim buildings of east Berlin in the 60s. Not picturesque at all. The one great feature is the lake so we walked around there for a few hours. All in all not a town I feel I’d want to return to, but as a passing through guest this was a fine hotel to stay."

"Am See seems to be in the middle of nowhere. Located in Uferstrasse in Hard am Bodensee, there are no other hotels nearby. But – it’s a short walk to the lake Bodensee (or Constance) which has a fine lake promenade. We walked at around 8:45 pm and there were still other lake strollers and bench sitters around. A walk in the reverse direction takes you to the main road where the bus passes, and where several restaurants are located. Actually, right beside the hotel is a restaurant - we presume they're partners with the Am See. The reception staff are very friendly and obviously committed to their work. The rooms are huge and very modern. There is a two-seater sofa, a work desk with a bench chair, and a one seater cushioned chair. There is a tiny balcony with table and two chairs but unfortunately, we didn't have time to enjoy it. One wall had floor to ceiling glass windows (with the glass door that leads to the balcony). At breakfast, food variety was very good. And they kept offering additional new snacks from the kitchen to the guests!"

"En mi viaje de moto, llegó temprano, permitió un pequeño paseo al lago de la caja fuerte. El cuarto estaba bien decorado con una celda húmeda y una caja fuerte. Algo oscuro debido a la pequeña ventana, no importa, no se puede quedar en este tiempo. Acepto el techo en un hotel deportivo así. Es evidente que en invierno se dirige a los skiers, en verano es un destino ideal para los pasajeros, ciclistas y motociclistas. Una gran paisaje de sauna brillante con muchas posibilidades fue impresionante. La tarjeta de comida del bistro es estrecha, para eso la comida está bien preparada. El buffet de desayuno rica fue muy grande. "
