It was spacious, comfortable, well-appointed, and provided a relaxing atmosphere throughout our stay. The resort is design-focused and exudes a tranquil, laid-back vibe. We loved the stunning beach with its crystal-clear waters and the lush greenery surrounding the property. What impressed us most was how the resort consistently maintained a high standard in every aspect of our stay. The food was consistently excellent, with both breakfast and dinner offering a great variety of high-quality, flavourful dishes made from fresh ingredients. The service from the staff was outstanding. The entire Zuri team delivered impeccable hospitality. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. We can't wait to return and reconnect with some of the wonderful people who made our stay so special. Highly recommended!

An amazing hotel, with unforgettable experience great service and the amenities are perfect for a couples getaway. A perfect getaway to connect with nature and your loved ones. My stay at Nungwi Dreams by Mantis was absolutely magical. Waking up to the ocean in view and catching the sunrise daily was golden – a truly breathtaking way to start each day. The hotel’s private beach was such a serene and peaceful retreat, offering the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the turquoise waters away from the crowds. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring I had the best night’s sleep, and the staff were so attentive and helpful, always going above and beyond to make my stay truly special. The food was top-notch, with every dish prepared to perfection, and the night entertainment was amazing, adding a lively yet elegant touch to the evenings. The rooftop bar, with its stunning panoramic views of the ocean, was an absolute highlight – a sight to behold and the perfect place to unwind. Nungwi Dreams by Mantis is a serene oasis away from the busyness of Nungwi, offering both relaxation and unforgettable experiences. I can’t wait to return to this little slice of paradise!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. Every morning I was able to do yoga on the beach with my own yoga mat. From the resort you can walk right into the water. The food here was excellent. Honestly, it was one of the best burgers we’ve ever had, and the fries were perfectly crispy. The only downside is that it is beside a club that plays relatively loud music from around 3 PM to around 10 PM. We were there from Friday to Sunday, so perhaps they don’t play during the weekdays. I am still happy to give them a really good rating because the music turned off at 10 PM when we were ready to go to sleep. The only other thing I would add is they list a gym as part of their amenities but they have just wooden barbells and a covered space. However, their pool is really nice and their Jacuzzi was quite a treat after swimming in the ocean.

Este fue nuestro último (tercer) hotel en Zanzíbar; nuestro principal objetivo era una escapada relajante junto al mar. Estuvimos encantados con nuestra elección. UBICACIÓN. El hotel no está en primera línea de playa, pero está a unos 5 minutos a pie del mar. Todo lo que necesita está cerca: restaurantes donde comer bien y ver espectáculos, varias playas, un mercado de recuerdos e incluso una licorería. Hay una escuela y un estadio cerca del hotel; es muy interesante observar a la gente local. HOTEL. Hay dos hoteles, todos del mismo propietario, y puede utilizar las instalaciones de ambos. Los jardines son pequeños, pero acogedores, están bien cuidados y tienen todo lo necesario: piscinas, bares y restaurantes. HABITACIONES. Elegimos este hotel principalmente por su amplia habitación familiar, con capacidad para cuatro personas. Nuestra elección estaba justificada: una suite de dos habitaciones con una enorme logia que ofrece una hermosa vista de las piscinas y calles iluminadas por la noche. Contras: la habitación está un poco deteriorada y necesita una renovación. Las personas con sensibilidad auditiva pueden tener dificultades para escuchar los sonidos nocturnos: gallos cantando, almuecines cantando, cuervos graznando. Pero esto definitivamente no es una queja del hotel. La habitación está en la tercera planta, no hay ascensor. La habitación tiene mucha iluminación y zonas de iluminación separadas; es cómoda y hermosa. PERSONAL. Sobre todo, un elogio. Todos son muy amables y nos ayudan con cualquier pregunta. Incluso hablamos con el dueño del hotel, un hombre muy agradable, que nos ayudó a resolver un pequeño retraso en el check-in y luego nos ayudó con otras preguntas. DESAYUNO. Casi perfecto para los estándares locales; tiene todo lo necesario: huevos al momento, salchichas/bacon, verduras frescas, ensaladas, cereales, jugos, varios tipos de pan y bollería, fruta y postres. Lo único que falta es una cafetera; solo café instantáneo, pero eso ocurre en casi todo Zanzíbar. OCÉANO. Varias playas cercanas, aguas cristalinas, sin mareas bajas en la zona oeste que impidan el baño. Pero hay puestas de sol impresionantes, ¡no se las pierdan! APARCAMIENTO. Llegamos en un coche de alquiler y lo dejamos en el aparcamiento interior vigilado hasta la mañana. Y luego están las DESVENTAJAS. Básicamente, solo teníamos una; a pesar de haber pagado por adelantado nuestra habitación familiar, no nos la dieron de inmediato. Por alguna razón, su sistema de reservas mostró nuestra reserva como de dos habitaciones dobles. Tardaron aproximadamente una hora en resolver el problema, pero luego el propietario intervino y lo resolvió. En general, quedamos satisfechos con la habitación. VEREDICTO. Recomendamos el hotel; es una buena opción por la relación calidad-precio.

Buen hotel, pero los recepcionistas rechazaron mi solicitud de registro anticipado y estuve gravemente enfermo ese día. Me mantuvieron en el vestíbulo casi 3 horas y a nadie le importó. Les recordaron a mi amigo sobre mi condición, pero la recepción no hizo nada.

I had an amazing stay at Nungwi Beach Front Hotel in Zanzibar! The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beautiful beach, which made it super easy to enjoy the ocean views and relax by the water. The hotel was impressively clean, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive—they made us feel right at home. While the amenities weren’t quite five-star, they were more than enough for a comfortable stay. The lack of a TV and the occasional power outages didn’t bother us at all, as it gave us the perfect opportunity to disconnect, relax, and spend quality time together. Plus, it was very affordable, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a laid-back, authentic Zanzibar experience!

¡Un hotel excelente por su precio y ubicación! Está justo en primera línea de playa, con una playa preciosa y todo lo necesario cerca, incluyendo tiendas, cafeterías y un minimercado. Las habitaciones son bastante sencillas, pero no somos muy exigentes, ya que pasamos todo el día en el mar. El desayuno es normalito, y comimos en el restaurante cercano. Tiene un precio razonable y la comida está deliciosa. El hotel también ofrece fácil acceso a las playas de los hoteles vecinos y, con la marea baja, a la orilla del mar. Una ubicación muy práctica.

Отель очень удобно расположен. Красивая дорожка к пляжу, через ресторанчик. Лежаки и зонтики бесплатно при отеле. Полотенца пляжные выдают на ресепшене. Возле этого отеля самая широкая часть пляжа, поэтому чтобы искупаться, нужно прости около 50 м по мягкому белому песку. Можно лечь у океана на полотенце, но там вас замучают местные ”фейк-массаи”, очень навязчивые, но безопасные. Поэтому лучше лежать на территории отеля, а чтобы искупаться, немого пройти. У самого океана я вещи не оставляла, в целях безопасности, на лежаках - спокойно. Завтраки вкусные. Сок свежевыжатый, каждый день разный. Тарелка фруктов, тосты, блиныи яичница с разными дополнениями (сосиски, говядина, грибы, бобы...). Цены в ресторане при отеле дороже немного, чем в других кафе, если кушать днем, слетается много мух и нападают на еду, по утрам их нет. (Я ходила рядом, слева от пляжа Furana ресторан, там мух нет, вкусно и красиво!!!) При отключении электричества, в отеле есть генератор, без электричества не останетесь. С водой тоже проблем не было, немного слабый напор только. Обязательно купите переходник, английские розетки. Иначе по приезду не сможете подзарядить телефон. Персонал - просто супер! Девочки на ресепшен и горничные восхитительны! Отдельное им спасибо! Номер простой, но в целом нормальный, учитывая, что это Африка, изысков не ждите. Кондиционер работал хорошо. Фен был. В отеле в основном иностранцы, из русских я была одна, но в соседней Тропикане очень много соотечественников. Чтобы произвели уборку в номере необходимо ключ оставить на ресепшен. Воду так же можно каждый день брать на ресепшене. Отель мне понравился! Однозначно могу сказать вернулась бы сюда! Цена - качество! Сейчас переехала на Нунгви - здесь мне не нравится, пляж намного хуже, с лежаками проблема, много лодок в море и толпы прилипал. И цены в ресторанах не дешевле, чем на Кендве. Если вас интересует пляж и океан однозначно - Кендва. Если отдыхаете с детьми - тоже Кендва!

Great hotel, but some niggles. Has safe parking, central location, nice staff, big rooms. In our first block power off virtually every night 6-9.00 pm, Did get moved and was a huge improvement. Breakfast could be a little more interesting On the whole well worth a visit 😎
