This beautifully and lovingly restored traditional house is located in a charming village right on the riverbank. The room was tastefully furnished and spotlessly clean. The hosts were incredibly friendly, dedicated, and always ready to help. The food, prepared with fresh ingredients from their own garden and the local area, was the best we had during our four weeks in China. Our stay was absolutely wonderful, and I would love to come back to this hotel anytime.

¡Esta casa de huéspedes en Huangling es una auténtica joya! Está increíblemente cerca del teleférico de la zona turística, a solo unos minutos a pie. Hello. We are a couple from Holland and are spending our third week of our vacation in China in Huangling cun. We planned to only spend one night in Huangling but we were enjoying ourselves here so much that we extended our stay with an extra night. The B&B is located at the top of the mountain and our room at the B&B was also on the topfloor. The hallways on each floor and the room itself are tastefully decorated with an eye for detail. The room is fully equipped. All is looking tidy and sparkling clean. The door next gives access to a roof terrace with laundry facilities and wiring for hanging clothes to dry. The boss (Mme Zhan) gave us a warm welcome and came down the mountain to pick us up where the taxi driver could not go any further up. Although we booked the Tatami room she suggested us to move into the room next door. That one comes with a balcony. We gladly accepted her advice. After having refreshed ourselves in the room she showed us the footpath up the mountain that leads to the entrance. She told us to contact her via Wechat at the end of the evening so that she could bring us back to the hotel again. The next morning she brought us down the mountain so that we could have breakfast near the bus station. from there we could easily take the bus to another beautiful old village in the neighbourhood, Likeng. The boss dropped us off and wished us a good day. We did not know that while we were eating the went back up to the B&B and came down again to bring us an umbrella to provide shelter from rain or sunshine. We did not request this. We very much appreciated this kind and polite gesture. We had a great time in Huangling village on our first day. Our second day was in Likeng village. The atmosphere in Likeng was very relaxing. It felt really authentic and the people here are very friendly and welcoming. Thank you boss and thank you all fine people in Huangling village and Likeng village. We had the time of our lives in your beautiful villages 😍

El hotel es un hotel de 3 días, y la señora que mantiene el lugar fue muy agradable y nos ayudó a organizar viajes en la zona de Wuyuan. Las habitaciones son espaciosas y ofrecen todo lo que necesitas. La zona de la sala de estar/desayuno tiene un gran encanto, ya que todos los muebles son de otra era y el lugar se siente muy original y homey. Aunque en 2 de 3 días fuimos los únicos huéspedes, tuvimos un bufete completo de deliciosa comida china para el desayuno, incluyendo un buen café. Las visitas organizadas con el Sr. Yu fueron tan agradables, nos mostró los mejores lugares en la zona y era un auténtico conductor.

The hotel staff were sweet and helpful. They offered a tea service for guests, which was such a lovely touch. The hotel owner used to run a tea factory before opening the hotel, so the tea they serve is their own in-house production. When they served it, it wasn’t just a cup of tea handed to us, but they led us to the seating area, sat down, and prepared the tea right there for us. We could slowly sip and savor it until the flavor faded. If you come here, you can enjoy it as soon as you arrive or later (we arrived in the afternoon but saved it for the next morning). Another thing that really impressed me was the room, which was much nicer than I expected from the pictures. I was traveling with older family member, and they absolutely loved the room. It felt spacious and cozy thanks to its design and layout. At first, I thought we might have been upgraded, but it didn’t seem so—this was the original room I had booked. The hotel grounds are also quite spacious. Some of the buildings are designed with traditional Chinese architecture, and there’s a garden on a hillside at the back that took us around 30 minutes to walk through. As for the breakfast, it was decent—plenty of food, though the variety was fairly standard. Still, I’ve got to say this again—the tea served at the hotel was great. They even gave us a box of tea leaves when we checked out! If you’re coming from the train station, it’s easy to reach the hotel by bus. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel, and routes 2, 3, and 520 pass by. However, buses stop running fairly early, with the last ones around 5–6 PM. Conveniently, the bus stop has a QR code you can scan to track the buses in real time.

This is our third week travelling through China. Our stay at Wuli Shanshui Wenquan Dujia Jiudian. Mentioning the full name of this hotel pretty much gives you a full description of what you will likely experience. A lot of good value for money! The hotel is situated at the bank of a river and behind the river you will see beautiful forested hills. Early in the morning and late in the afternoon you will hear the birds singing. Your stay in this hotel comes with free entrance tickets to the hotpools, each with its own theme. You have the Danggui, the Red Wine, the Green Oasis, the Milk and Red Vinegar pools. We spent about 10 minutes in each of them. Relax, take time to have the body adjust to the temperature. I sat on the side with only my legs and hands under water. Later I let my body slide into the water fully. That night I slept like a baby and this morning I had a smooth soft skin, like a baby 😁 The rooms are fully equipped with all necessities and the reception was very helpful. We got a fruit basket as a welcoming gift. Unfortunately there was no restaurant service but the reception helped us to order in lunch and dinner from a nearby restaurant. All we had to do was to pick from the menu and send the order to the reception via Wechat. For a modest fee our lunch, dinner and cold beers were delivered to our room 👍 The breakfast buffet offered great variety with fresh Ginseng fruit and mini tomatoes. We liked it here so much that we booked a second night. There is so much to explore in the neighbourhood with the beautiful old villages of Likeng and Wangkou nearby. Thank you! 🙏

Very charming landscape of the property so we enjoyed taking lots of pictures there. Unfortunately, it was heavy rain on the night we stayed plus the day after so we didn’t go out to Wuyuan Huanglin as planned. We liked the food there a lot, the cooks are so nice and kind. Also they dropped us to Wuyuan Train Station. Hope to return on a sunny day.
