Aruna Estate

"We've just returned from a truly fabulous stay at Aruna Estate. I've been to a number of similar experiences to Aruna, but this was by far the best. They have really thought of everything - you are really very remote there so you can truly immerse yourself within the forest surrounding you, the spec of the villa we stayed in was second to none. Everything was modern, spotlessly clean, and well thought out - you needed for nothing. You felt you were in luxury. The swimming pool is fantastic, heated for the cooler months and wonderful in the summer. I would highly recommend Aruna to anyone, and personally I'll be 100% returning myself."

"We enjoyed the stately feel of the establishment and our spacious suite (Room 120) with its provincial furnishings, four poster bed and pleasant leafy outlook was definitely a treat …. as was the fireplace was on a cool late October evening. The (unintentional) shabby-chic look of a lot of the building interior didn’t worry us though the multiple stains on the carpet in the main dining room were a bit off-putting. The gardens were lovely though perhaps less extensive than we had imagined."

The Bundanoon Guest House

"My husband and I had a very rare free weekend with just ourselves so we took a drive to Bundanoon and checked in at the Bundanoon Guest House. Highly recommend this place. Tim and Lucie are a very welcoming couple and everything is so nice and clean and well planned and thoughtout. The whole guesthouse is set out beautifully. Lovely rooms to sit in around the property and a very nice afternoon tea of scones is laid out. The included continental breakfast served in the dining room is also very good. The candles burning around the property are amazing and they are for sale. We topped off our stay with dinner at the Italian Restaurant 'Bottega B' just a 10 minute walk down the road. Amazing. Thanks Tim and Lucie, we'll be back with the family :)"
