"The person who deserves the most praise is a middle-aged lady with glasses and blonde curly hair at the front desk. She left a deep impression on me and enthusiastically introduced the places worth seeing in Bonifacio. Even though public transportation in the city isn't very convenient, she helped us find a way to get to Ajaccio, which was incredibly helpful. She also told us about the precautions for calling a taxi. I am truly grateful to her; such an employee deserves a big reward."

"We chose the Sofia residence because its location was ideal for visiting South Corsica. In addition, all the previous comments were very positive, especially regarding the welcome. After staying there for 4 days, we can confirm that this place is ideal: quality facilities, well-equipped loft, clean and cozy. Well-exposed swimming pool with sun loungers for everyone. A very, very high quality welcome, really special mention to Inde, the manager, who was able to give us good advice to make the most of our stay and discover the authenticity of this region. We also met Lucia who is very kind. We were there for our 10th wedding anniversary and we were pampered. We are coming back full of memories and in large part thanks to the 4-star welcome we had at the residence."

The immediate surroundings were peaceful and quiet and all the staff were lovely and friendly! The free shuttle to Bonifacio was a nice touch and very much appreciated. Bonafacio itself was a lovely place to wander and take in all the viewpoints and historical sites and I’m sure there would have been much more to see and explore had we had more time. "We stayed in one of the four hotel rooms in the main building of the hotel. This room is HUGE and modern with a separate living and kitchen area and a large bedroom with an amazing king bed. We have never seen such a big hotel room in all of Europe!!! The room is modern and fully updated. The kitchen has a sink, a very big refrigerator, and a microwave. The bathroom (actually there are two bathrooms with two toilets and two sinks) was clean and modern and the shower was amazing, although it took a while to get hot water. Once the hot water was flowing, it was perfect with tons of flow. And the bathtub, it is so big we never used it because we figured it would take forever to fill up. The bedroom could be cordoned off from the living area via a large curtain that would slide across the room, but we never used it. The bed was very comfortable with an assortment of pillows to choose from. The view from the bedroom was amazing, right on the marina with views of the town across the way and the old town way to the left. We never ate breakfast here, a bit expensive. We just went to the market across the marina and got fresh croissants, Corsican honey and yoghurt, juices, and fruit to start our day, given it had a great kitchen. The rooftop bar is not really a rooftop bar, more like a terrace, but it was nice with decent food and expensive drinks. One night they had live music and we could hear it from our room. The staff were all very friendly. Sammy was especially nice and helped us with food recommendations in town and things to do during the day. The only real drawback with this place, and I am sure most places in town, is that the nightclub across the way called B52’s, plays very loud music every night and they really crank up the music late at night. I had to wear my earplugs to avoid hearing the loud music. Everything else was perfect."
